Combattra GoDaiKin

I just managed to get the last couple of Mattel's U-Combine figures to get all five to build out Combattra.

My Battle Jet and Battle Tank are in brand new mint shape. I believe that combining these ships to form Combattra damages the lead paint on these ships.

Do I have that right? If they do I don't want to combine my ships to form Combattra.

I will post pictures soon when I receive the last two from the eBay auctions I just one.

They will rub, which may or may not chip the paint depending on the paint thickness, and how carefully you assemble him.
I got around the problem by buying an older one as well as a mint one, but I'd still put him together even if I only had the one perfect one

I may have been bidding against you. I was looking at the battle tank for the rubber treads and needed one of the feet.

While they had the original boxes, they weren't mint. One of the feet had a cracked out yellow canopy, the other missing the black divider and can see a couple small paint chips. The tank had a cracked, broken spot at one of the screws.

With your other pieces being mint, guess it is your decision to combine or not. I think vehicle #2 that could have a chance to chip more likely when combining into #3.

I have in excellent/near mint condition the battle jet and battle tank (sold the threads to sell my blue box godaikin). I did not bid on the battle tank even though I need rubber treads. I did win the Battle Craft and wanted it anyways because I don't have one, even though the black divider, two wires cables and ma couple of small paint chips. I got the Battle Marine as well and am really happen about this one as this seemed to be the one that was in the best condition out of all five up for auction. I also got the Battle Crasher (#2) to update my other Battle Crasher which was in much poorer condition, which has a lot more paint wear due to being combined multiple times. The Battle Crasher was incomplete as well, because there were no instruction sheet and missing the suspenders.

I just need the Battle Craft plastic wire pieces and I believe the two small plastic chrome guns that attach to the feet now. Nicer condition feet would be good as well =).
