Wish I knew how to help, but I've never used that Tamiya Epoxy and I don't have the hands-on experience to offer any tips or help for this particular repair. Boma's got the right idea! zozo-mag

The Tamiya epoxy putty is great. Can be hard to find though. There are other more industrial epoxy putties out there like JB Weld and Loctite has a version that are available at most hardware stores and usually work ok, but the Tamiya is the best for our hobby because it bonds so well to plastic and has a very smooth plastic like consistency when sanded. The other more industrial epoxy putties are sometimes more grainy or powdery, and sometimes they won't stick as well to some plastics. Tamiya is expensive, but it's the best epoxy putty I've used.
Another product that works well for gluing almost all plastics is "plastic repair epoxy". ACE and Loctite both make a version of this. It's not as liquid as regular epoxy so it's easier to control, and it chemically bonds to plastic unlike regular epoxy.

For a hole so small, I think the Tamiya will be more than enough, but it's nice to see that there are other options.
