Hi from France, here is still difficult to find in shop the 31 inch. That's ONLY Toys R us who sell the deluxe version of Darth Vader for 49 euros, more exciting than the classic version of course. Toys R us sell also the classic Power Ranger, Batman and Man of Steel, but not the limited versions of these guys. I see on Ebay the limited version of Black Power Ranger! They really found a new business collection. In some classics toys shops you can find the classic Darth Vader.

I've seen the Darth Vader at TRU for $50. Is this the deluxe? What is difference between classic and deluxe?

The deluxe version have a diff box, more complete, Darth Vader have a lightsaber Inside (but no light Inside!), and you can press the green button on his chest to hear two phrases from the movies or various sounds as the lightsaber in action, his famous breath. The battery are Inside. You can change also his right hand (2 right hands in the box) One is similar as the classic line, BUT, on the classic you can't change his hand, and the second deluxe hand is for put the lightsaber inside. (easy to move) If I'm not wrong, the classic was available first especially when I bought it in Germany in august, and the Deluxe seems in early october in France And of course the Deluxe version is the best, Darth Vader without his lightsaber,it's like Mazinger Z without missiles. The right price for France is 49 euros the Deluxe, in USA, I see it for a very cheap price! I'm not a Star Wars fan, but this toy is interesting and believe me, he is nearly my TV with his red lightsaber in the air, it's impressive! (with the lightsaber in hand = something like 103 cm!!! 40,55 inch !!). I can just tell this, buy it soon as possible, especially now with the cheap price, that's possible in a couple of years some people will sell it with a high price. who knows. And until now, this one is the only with sounds. But before buying it in a shop, check the box, and see if the lightsaber and 2nd hand are really Inside! But now it seems a new theme collection with this new size (30-31 inch), is there any new name for this collection style? As for the 24 inch 'Jumbo Machinder' which name for the 31 inch? Any idea??? |

Prices are marked down on these, on line, at Wal-Mart.com. They have both Batman figures. Superman is down to $22.50.

Star Wars Figurine Giant Size Commander Cody 79 cm (31 inch) is on sale, you can find it in France for 49 euros (FNAC shop), the head is from a new mold, also his right arm, and colors are more orange light, it looks cool.
also see on EBay the 31 inch figurine of John Cena (!!!), but I think only for the US market.
OK, still no ROBOT in this line, but I still hope!
PS: I see in a Paris shop the 4 KISS large figurines (exist as Destroyer and Love Gun versions), not 31 inch, but 24 inch, each box is 32 inch, very massive!! limited to 25 000 ex. The price in this shop is 800 euros for the 4. (!!!) I still wait the Godzilla 2014 giant size, it could be a very large scall! and the 31 inch Darth Maul. And last, this shop have in stock a vintage Goldorak/Grendizer 24inch in Box,the price is 385 euros, but I don't remember which version is it (Allemagne, France, Toei Doga). The box seems really in very good condition.

Toys R Us just concluded a Fri-Sat sale for 31" figures for $25 each. I haven't seen any jumbo Godzilla's so no doubt this was an intentional sale. I personally picked up a 31" Darth Vader at Wal-Mart for $15. There were two left when the cost reduced that low. In the weeks prior they had a dozen at $25 each and within a weeks half the inventory was bought. Anyway, at TRU I saw a blue Clone Trooper, Darth Vader, Man of Steel, Batman, WWE John Cena, Spider-man, and a red Power Ranger. In the past, I've seen blue and red Power Rangers.

Thanks for the US infos about the sale, damned very cool prices! Darth Vader for $15 !!!!!!! Impossible here in France! The best price was 49 euros the deluxe edition. I saw only Red Power rangers for 25 euros in Toys R Us for Xmas, after the rest of the line was 49 euros.
I'm looking now by eBay way the Blue Power Ranger and John Cena, but the shipping between US>France cost a lot for a 31" figure!
Yes Godzilla seems for May, 24 inch (Jakks Pacific) very big! $49,99 ! Hope we will have it in France!
OK, wait this great Godzilla!

Very various collection, because John Cena is now in 31 inch, I buy it for the collection for a cheap price, I hope one day a true Robot 31 inch will be available!

Today Godzilla 24 inch / 40 inch is at home (sorry can't put the picture here) he is very large!! his tail is in 4 parts and one part is articulated to make a sort of pendulum's swing (!!) He can open the mouth, but the eyes are really smalls (I think!!) He can turn the head, the arms, legs are articulated, same for the hands and feet. He is presented in three parts in his box. His big crest is a bit flexible.
But sadly, seems not available in France, so mine is coming from USA, and cost something like 97 euros with shipping. His size in centimètres is 60 cm / 110 cm long. A Very nice piece in a JM 24 inch collection (I think!!) Don't miss this guy, but he need a big room !!! If you have small house, hum...!!!
