Hello Vintage Gokin masters,
I just got an excellent condition Godaikin Goggle Robo from a fellow board member, but I'm wondering if the blue plastic used in Goggle Tank is considered the brittle popy blue plastic that I have read in many forums. Can anybody help me clarify this fact?
Thanks in advance.

It can be sometimes. I bought an unused goggle v DX last year and very gently was able to open and close the plate to open the arms.
I would recommend using very slight pressure with your finger to press on the edge with the clip when opening it and the same to close it.
Do not just pull open or press the plate closed without using your finger to relieve pressure on that clip, if you do it like that, you will probably shatter the blue plastic.

I haven't seen too many problems with the Goggle Tank (and I've handled a few loose ones through the years), but I would still approach it with gentle hands. I just don't think that the blue plastic on this is under much stress (just the main clip).

Thanks for the clarification guys. I have been very careful with it, but it is still good to know that there hasn't been much problems reported with Goggle Tank. One thing for sure, the spring loaded mechanisms are quite powerful!
