Me wanting a release date doesn't mean I want them to rush it out the door. With so such stuff coming out this year I'd just like to budget ahead of time.

That is gonna be one big SOC by the looks of it... ...perhaps as big as the SOC Daitarn or Danguard Ace? We'll see.
But, Wow, it's looking awesome for just these prototype images so far! You can certainly tell that with This new GX the SOC line technically and engineering-wise has come a long way since the GX-01.

Personally, I don't care much for the SOC GaoGaiGar. I'm just hoping is a huge hit so Bandai decides to make the GaoFighGar! That one I will buy multiples of, no matter the price!!! }D

Wouldn't the transformation/combining be easier to engineer at a larger size? Very true, I remember seeing the "new" TF Alternity Optimus Prime grey prototype pics and they were super sized, while the final release was about half the scale? The same applies to action figure prototypes too (The old DC Super Heroes 6" figure line from Mattel had the same "Two-ups" prototypes too before releasing the final figure) I hope it's not the case here. Me too! I would love a 10+ inch Soul of Chogokin GGG!!! Just for visual reference, let's see someone post a pic of the largest ** SOC GX-## figure standing next to either the DX Maz or the Miracle's VV. **And that would be the SOC Irongear, am I right? zozo-mag

Heck, I would love to see a chart of all SOC and their respective figure height/weights.

Heck, I would love to see a chart of all SOC and their respective figure height/weights. I agree. Just actual SOCs, no cartoon drawings nor contrived speculated scale drawings by artists, just actual SOCs all lined up side by side. zozo-mag

I was looking at some of Golds reviews. Looks like Ideon might be biggest based on the pic he has in the GX-60 review

Yeah, I think Ideon is the tallest one. Dancougar's cannons may sit higher than Ideon's head, but I can't confirm that right now. Baron, You should definitely get the SOC Dancougar. It is a really nice figure. And the anime was released in April of 1985, so only four months after 1984! Seriously, Dancougar is totally worth it. }D

I think Iron Gear was supposed to be the tallest, but Ideon is the heaviest.

I think Iron Gear was supposed to be the tallest, but Ideon is the heaviest. Ideon is definitely taller than Iron Gear (and Dancouga)

I have them both. I should go measure the figures to find out exactly which one is bigger. Unfortunately, I don't feel like taking them out of the display to do so at this time.

They look the same height at the top of each head.
