If counting the cannons, Dancougar is indeed the tallest. I need to takeoff Dancougar's cannon tips in order to fit him in my cabinet, but the cabinet fits Ideon just fine standing right next to Big Dan. But not counting the cannons, Dan is quite a bit shorter than Ideon.
In terms of GGG. I'll have to wait and see. I blew way too much cash on all the previous CM's GGGs. I still like the show a lot, but I am less hot-blood about rebuying high end gokins of them all over again at the moment. Have to see how good it turns out, before I can decide if I want this or not. It seems to be an endless journey for higher end GGG stuff. Before there were gokins, I went all out to get the Yujin DX GFG with Hammer and Takara King Jer. Then there is the super expensive CM's DX GGGG (the plastic 12" one, which I asked my Japanese coworker's parents to preorder it for me at the time LOL). Then the gokin trio. Then the gokin ver.2. Then the SRC (which I skipped), and now the SOC...and the saga continues, while my wallet wept to this day. I am pretty burnt out man...

Really? Thought I made an effort bringing it back to SOC GGG, the "I have to wait and see...." part.

No idea. But I don't argue with GOLD *-) Ideon and Irongear live side by side on my shelf and Ideon is definitively taller

Tallest is DX Mazinger with wings. Next is Dancougar with cannons.

Knowing Bandai and the SOC line I think this will be the definitive GGG for awhile. I'm pretty sure they've looked at every version from other companies and improved upon them. I have a feeling once the SOC version comes out your going to see a lot of the other ones from different companies hit Ebay.

Well, one thing the CM's have is their sheer size. They're all pretty much shelf huggers. I don't think I will get rid of mine, but might move them down a shelf or two. }D

The problem with the CMS bot (particularly GGGG) is that it's extremely fiddly and just not solid at all. But it does have a great shelf presence!

Knowing Bandai and the SOC line I think this will be the definitive GGG for awhile. I'm going to be so mad if they decide to release Goldymarg as a Tamashii exclusive or something.

After buying the src GGGG, I'm starting to get interested in this SOC GGG. I'm a bit worried with these hands if they are indeed articulated. The problem with having articulated fingers of this size is the durability. I've had to many model kits with articulated hand that got loose or broken so I'd rather swap them with static hands since I'm certain they will also come with this soc.

I'm not a huge fan of articulated fingers because they hold weapons worth a crap, but since GGG does not actually use any hand held weapons like swords or guns I think this would work.

Articulated hands are my Kryptonite, but I agree that 99.9% of them can't hold anything. Still, they look very cool! }D

Is anyone else reminded of the MG Gundam Hands?

Its pretty much what it is, with some new shapes. Doesn't look as robust as General Franky's since Franky's hands are quite a bit bigger.

Gold ion Hammers gonna suck if they don't have some static hands.

Another tease. Just realized the pics state something about a "slide system". If you look closely, the open palm pics show the entire half of the hand sliding up. Man... I really hope this gimmick doesn't muck things up. Gold
