Looking good. Hope they can squeeze some articulation into the legs.
Best part is that this opens up the door for GaoFighGar and GaoGaiGo right off the bat to milk the rest of the parts

Thank you guys for schooling me on GGG. I think I prefer GGG over GGGG for its cleaner lines. GGGG looks busy but admittedly bad ass. Is he an upgrade to GGG or is he a different Mecha all together?
I think I went 4-5 episodes. The green kid annoyed me because he seems like a spoiled rat who undeservedly obtained power and now becomes some special kid who thinks he's superman. This annoys me because I have always been annoyed by people who don't work hard for what they have.

GGG is composed of an alien mecha (the Lion) and Earth-Manufactured components (Liner Gao, Drill Gao, Stealth Gao, plus Cyborg Shishio Guy) GGGG is ALL Alien components... the True GaoGaiGar... plus Evoluder Shishio Guy. That is why I like the GaoFighGar over the rest. It is 100% Earth-Manufactured! }D

It is looking promising. I never watched any of their animation... I just like it as a toy. I perfer the look of GGGG, but then again I perfer SOC over SRC. If I have to choose between SOC GGG and SRC GGGG. Which one shall I get?! Bandai is killing me slowly. See the chart I posted above as to why you should TOTALLY watch Gaogaigar! Seriously, that show is probably the greatest thing to come out around its time period!

This annoys me because I have always been annoyed by people who don't work hard for what they have. You must hate 99.9% of all fiction then.

This. Is. Awesome.
Edit: And likely my very first SOC!....OK, actually it would be my SECOND SOC. First was Battle Fever.

Battle Fever is an Amazing SOC release. I have about twenty SOC (NOT counting recolors and exclusives) and it is one of my top three. It would be a real treat if it can even come close let alone surpass it, for me anyway.

haha, some more than others! One reason I really loved Gaiking - legend of DM. Daiya had gone through a lot, and worked really hard to become Gaiking's pilot. I think that's sending a good message to kids watching, that things don't just fall into their laps.
Ya, I didn't last long watching Zambot3 either!

Don't worry I'm not afraid to disappoint! The older we get the less time we have (until retirement anyway), why waste time watching something that don't make you happy? Not saying Zambot3 and GGG are not good, just not my cup of tea.

Oh man.you guys are missing it. GGG takes more than a handful of episodes. Really, you gotta get a dozen in or so.

why waste time watching something that don't make you happy? And how are you supposed to find out if any of them are good if you don't give them a decent chance? I say "decent" because giving up three episodes in ain't it.

At first I didn't like GGG, Zambot, or even Gurren Lagann. But I gave them a shot and kept watching. They ended up being very good, all of them! }D

In the case of the GGG mecha, it's physical design incorporates several machines combined to form the mecha. While its upper body has vehicles combined, it's wings are that of a stealth bomber with large turbine engines. It's shoulders are a locomotive train combined at both sides... So then, all that combined weight up there would throw the SOC off balance. To compensate for that, the stance had to be made a little wider at the hips and thighs. Now comes the million-dollar question: where would the die-cast be distributed so that the SOC GGG can stand without falling over? Mostly in the leg and feet areas. The body will also have some die-cast. Most of the die-cast would be concentrated towards the center of mass on that figure while the outer arms would be of lighter weight material in order to hold a pose without stressing the shoulder joints and the torso joints. Any hand-held accessories would have to be made of lighter material, especially the Goldion Hammer. That's all just my wild theory. zozo-mag How tall is the SRC version? The SoC has such a wide stance? Perhaps more height can be attained by pulling the legs closer together?
