Don't like Bandai's pricing practice on this thing. Knowing fans will buy this Goldy for sure, they raised it to a ridiculous level. I'll still buy it for my GGG, but I am definitely not a happy customer like I usually am, and will probably only buy it at a good discounted price. The thing is, it doesn't even include the Star Parts...

Very nice Goldymarg. Hope Bandai will make the Pliers too. For the SoC? I doubt it. Star Parts would be more important, but it seems we won't be getting those either.. I think they'll just give us Goldymarg, and then move onto something else. They made pliers for the SRC GaoGaiGar though. TWE I think.

SGII, broken magnum/protect shade effect parts, display stand, and a Gatling Driver. All as TWE.

19,000 yen SOC with the big holes behind his legs ? Why not try to cover them without add-on part.

19,000 yen is ridiculous.

Agreed, I hope they include leg covers for Goldy's calves like with the CM's Goldy.
The more I look at those tires the more I think they're going to use rubber. I hope it's the good quality kind that won't turn sticky. But I prefer plastic at this point.
As for the pliers. I think Cm's had the right idea releasing them as a model kit set. Cheaper and still gets the job done.

80 era Nikick can cover the holes at the forearms without add-on parts. Why not do that on Goldy calf ?

Is it possible to have separate parts to upgrade Stealthgao into Stealthgao II or is an entirely new plane necessary? From what I understand, even the GGG letters on the back are changed from gold to green.

From what I understand, even the GGG letters on the back are changed from gold to green. The CM's version did just that. They released a Power Up set with Golymarg and Stealth Gao 2 parts. Problem is, the Stealth Gao 1 has to be designed from the start to accept upgrade parts. I don't think the SOC is designed to do so. }D

Bandai went for accuracy with Stealth Gao, but internal space had to be sacrificed to make room for all those collapsable panels for the combination process. Adding parts to that to make it look like Stealth Gao II would be tricky, and the end result might not be good-looking.

Is anyone else's GGG right arm a lot stiffer in the elbow joint when you attempt to bend it like mine is... just thinking if bandai did this on purpose to support the Goldy add=on later as shown here. Just wondering if anyone else have crazy hard to bend right elbows This would make sense of course if goldy is going to add a lot of more weight to that right elbow perhaps?

I doubt Bandai made the 2 elbow joints different in purpose... also considering the fact that, if the elbow is stiff, then the stress transfers to the shoulder joint. But hey, seems like you got a lucky batch, hehe. Sure, if you're gonna get GX-69 in the future, that stronger elbow is gonna help for sure!

Considering the size (for some reason I initially thought it was maybe half the size height wise of GGG) 19,000 Yen is a bit more understandable but still pretty steep. Add on shipping and this is one expensive "accessory".

Woot!! My GX-68 finally shipped! What sucks is that its getting shipped UPS ground from Cali to MD so i probably wont see it for a week + In the meantime I've been watching GGG. Up to episode 14, and I'm loving the transformations. Hopefully Bandai does the rest of the crew in SOC form. P.S. Hana-chan is annoying as hell.

Oh man, if Bandai made all the GGG crew in SoC form, it would take them years trust me, you haven't seen everybody yet. Glad you're enjoying the show. Yeah, Hana is the typical Japanese kid screaming her ass through the whole show. You'll get used to it pretty quickly. Or so I hope, hehe. Oh, I forgot. Anime magic. Most of the robots in the show need anime magic during transformations, or else they'd look horribly misproportioned. The only ones that can be made anime-accurately in toy form are GGG and, with a bit of work, Goldymarg. The others... yeah, ask Takara about the others, they didn't look good... That's why Bandai made them in SRC form. Avoiding the transformation, you can make them cheaper and better-looking.

^ ^ ^ Don't underestimate Bandai SOC team. If original transformation need Anime Magic, they would not follow it. SOC Daimos is a good example. if they do original transformation Daimos will have big head ,small body and big lower legs. Then they move the arms to lower leg , no legs retraction and have a big Tranzer head in the chest. and turn out good in both form. I think Ryu series can do better symmetrical docking than Takara. if they detach one knee joint they can lift the arms to the front at shoulder joint in combine form. For Volfogg it can't be help
