Hey does anyone have the Star Option set? If you do can you show us a picture of you display? This is how I display my Star Gaogaigar set. It is more or less a statue now but I am considering getting a 2nd one to play around with.

Hi everyone, I just decided to revisit an issue I had with my copy of GX-68 today. The metal wrist joint on Gaogaigar's left forearm is quite loose, it's been like that out of the box since 2014. I I already examined if I can take the forearm apart to tighten the metal ball joint from the inside but had no luck. Any advice on what I should do? Remove the hand, and then coat the wrist joint in Pledge floor polish and then let it dry for about 24 hours. Apply more coats as needed until the wrist joint is satisfactorily solid. The problem is that the ball part where the hand attaches to is not loose, but the metal wrist joint itself wiggles from the base.

I don't think there is going to be an easy fix for that. Wish I could say otherwise. You might want to pick another one up from Madarake or one of the other second hand stores to get a replacement and then you could also have Vehicle mode to display along with GaoGaiGar.

Hey does anyone have the Star Option set? If you do can you show us a picture of you display? The Star Parts thread has a bunch of them. Its gotten pushed back quite a few pages, so its pretty easy to miss. I need to rearrange my office display and rotate GGG back in.

I need to rearrange my office display and rotate GGG back in. I hope you had a good reason to rotate him out in the first place.

Yeah, between him and my Macross Valks, people wouldn't leave my office. For some reason, they're less interested in the more classic Super Robots and usually only stick around for a bit when I add a new Transformer.

Well, I rewatched KumaStyle's review of GoldyMarg and have decided that even if it drops to $25 I wouldn't buy it. Thanks for saving me at least $109!

The stand that basically comes with the SoC Goldymarg only gives it two ways to pose as the Marg Hand and Goldion Hammer. I can see why the thing may be shelf-warming a bit to where it is at low low prices. Nonetheless, seeing how I am a huge completionist for anything Brave,I basically had to get even the now ridiculously priced Star Gaogaigar set and it looks amazing even if the figure is relegated to being a really good looking statue.

I agree it looks great but can not bring myself to sully such a magnificent figure like GX-68 GaoGaiGar with such a substandard piece of crap engineering and plastic.

I would love to see a SoC Genesic GaoGaiGar. What are peoples opinions on the Max Gokin version?

I would love to see a SoC Genesic GaoGaiGar. What are peoples opinions on the Max Gokin version? STAY AWAY FROM THE MAX GOKIN VERSION! Owned it, looked beautiful but it broke into so many pieces that I tossed it in the garbage. Later versions got better but IMHO the SRC GGGG is way better even if it's a little smaller. By the time I took this picture the MF GGGG was pretty much totally glued together and was immovable.

What is with companies giving Genesic toys a silver body? It was clearly white in the OVA.

How does this speak to their(Max Gokin) other products? I lust for their Big O.

I owned the MF GGGG, Mazinkaiser, and Godannar and by far the best figure out of the three was Godannar. Mazinkaiser was pretty decent but I did end up breaking a couple things while GGGG was junk. If you look closely at the picture I took you can see that the teeth for Galion on the MF version broke off leaving a toothless Galion on GGGG which pretty much sums up that figure.
Didn't own Big-O but from what I hear it's a very good figure.
