I haven't have much time recently to do much but here is my last build. The Dual Model Kit Optimus Prime. When I get the time, I will detail it a bit. Planning to add some panel lines and some highlights to the inner frame to bring out some of the details. Like paint the springs on the arms either copper or goldish color and some black wash on the break disk. I modded the fingers so they don't fall apart. But there is some fixes I need to do with the feet. The parts are plugging together that well. The thing with this kit is that parts are either too loose and doesn't snap on right or parts are too tight making it extremely hard to snap together. Enough talk, here is a cell phone picture for now until I finish it up.

Thanks, Mo. I still have to finish my Raideen kit now. As for what version my Maz kit is: Nope, it's not the Heavy version. It's the regular version. I had only painted the white armor parts in metallic silver. I've seen the MC Heavy version, and I like the metallic silver on that version. But if I had it, I would paint all the other armor parts in semi-gloss colored matte and just leave the metallic silver as is. zozo-mag nice build guys....great MAz Tony.....is that the Heavy Maz version? i've been longing to build my Big Bang Punch Shin Maz....but time is limited at the moment...:-(

If you built it and it's a model it can go here, doesn't matter the subject or what it's made from.

That Yamato looks BEAUTIFUL!!! And HUGE, too! zozo-mag It's also very fragile with a lot of tiny parts that can easily break It's about 15 inches long and based on the 2199 anime which is a reboot of the old show but it was a really well done reboot.

Nice! I saw some video clips of that version at Youtube. I think I'll see if I can find it online somewhere to download and watch the movie. zozo-mag That Yamato looks BEAUTIFUL!!! And I also like that Kid's rug the lab is sitting on, makes me wanna find a rug like that at a thrift store and play on it with some Matchbox cars! zozo-mag

Not yet, bro. Too cold to do anything related to painting. I don't have a shed or covered area outside, and it rains a lot here in WA. Also, I haven't been able to unpack anything from my move. I barely have room to walk in my collection room. It is full of boxes, wall to wall and ceiling high!!! I definitely need to start selling a lot of stuff. There is just not enough room to display it all. }D

The Mazinger Z from the model is Go Nagai's design. The Shin Mazinger from SRC is Ken Ishikawa's design. They are not identical. As a matter of fact, the only similarity between the two is the little protrution from the chest armor. Other than that, they are way different. For starters, the Nagai Mazinger Z does not have the horrible thunder-thighs/wasp-waist sindrome! }D
