Hello,
I am looking to see if anyone here has the version of Mattel Goldorak that says 'made in France' on the back or something like that? It is a lighter blue color and is immediately distinguishable from the more common black Mattel Goldorak. I'd be interested in buying if you are selling. I think it would display nicely against the dark black of my Popy Grendizer. There is one on Ebay.fr but the backside is heavily scratched and I don't think there is any way of removing those scratches.
Thanks in advance,
Rodman75

I had a Made in France one when I started to collect jumbos. My ignorance at the time, I decided to sell it as I didn't like the purple color and stocked up on the Toei Doga ones instead. I have regretted that decision later on. Best with getting a made in France version.

Ah, the famous 'Made in France', I'm french, I have this version, please note, some parts are also more thin than the classic 'Fabriqué en Alemagne' or the classic version Toei Doga. I'm looking to see since a couple of years if I can find an upgrade version, BUT, I never see it again since a couple of years (except expansives versions on EBay.) ANd take care, some Goldorak can be available with NO ORIGINAL parts, but with a fist from another Jumbo or head... Also exist the rare limited edition to 500 copies, with 'La vache qui rit' on black letters on his red sticker! But I don't know until now, which version was used for this special edition. I never find this one NOWHERE! So I think, is now really rare! And I think since two years the prices in France are really expansives for Goldorak now!

I just picked up a fabrique en allemagne version, and the body torso is the dark blue color rather than black. Its in really nice shape too, not sure if I want to let this one go or not. I mostly get the toei dogas.
