That's awesome. Never knew it existed. Too bad the colors are a bit off.

Mine arrived a week ago. checked contents and made a quick inspection.. my first impression.. hmmm.. i can say its a good representation of the character,, but not on par with your standard Bandai SOCs or CMS. perhaps due to the lack of diecast.. but i can live with that... its faithful to the show and has minimal parts-swapping.

Revolver is this your first ET? As its definately a shocker when you first realize these are NOTHING like SOC or CMs,and youve paid those prices, but Ive learned to accept teh trade off in that they are very anime correct, CMS is dead and SOC will never have these charcters in their lines.I accept the light feel etc.The recent daikengo is very nicely done.

Nope. My first ET was New Getter 1... and must say, im pretty impressed with this getter release. Displayed side by side with gx-51 and 52,, which almost same scale.. u will almost mistake it as a Bandai product...it looks good. Unless u hold and lift it ofcourse.. hehehe.. ull then realize, its all plastic. No, no, no, im not shocked. why would i.. hehehe.. Like i said previously,, ET toys are a hit or miss thing. some are good and some are big disappointment. Gladly the ones i need to buy.. up until now.. are winners. (for my taste ofcourse) U can wait for years even decades like those bandai lovers out there, hoping they would. but for me this version will pass for my standards.. (for now).. what if it doesnt happen...we cant be a collector forever...

Im just pointing out that such expensive toys versus what you get arent going to be for everyone, you and I love them because the characters, other collectors are much more interested in value.ET toys arent gonna satisfy that in most.I keep going back because they are making stuff no one else makes,I heard somewhere Bandai might be behind ET,dont know if its true though.I own the following ET toys..without looking LOL Gaiking Daiku Maryu Atlanger Atlanger mini Gattai Jeeg mini 2x Daikengo Z-Mazinger garage kit KingDan Garage kit Great Mazinger garage kit 2x Albegas

Actually I only buy ET products coz i just need it for representation... not for the reason that i really like thier work. like i said.. im just lucky that im satisfied so far. For example, if i already have,, lets say.. a Bandai-made Gaiking which is ofcourse we all know is much superior product,, then theres no reason for me to get another one from any other company that specially coming from already known all-plastic maker Evolution Toys. Ill admit.. i hate having doubles of the same character/mech in my collection. its just a waste of space and annoyingly repetetive. i only need one..the best modern and practical(price-friendly) toy available. If a better version comes out..more likely i will end up selling it. Sadly.. or now, ET only has them. Not Bandai, Arcadia, or any other company.
Nice ET lineup BTW.

Disclaimer: OT My opinion, there is no such thing as a perfect toy. A perfect figure, a perfect representation, whatever you want to call it. Because of colors, size, articulation, lack of gimmicks, fragility, parts wearing out fast, there will never be a perfect rendition of a robot we love. That's why we can compensate, by having more figures of the same character, the defects of one not present in the other, and viceversa.

For now.. some toys is as good as it gets.. so im ok with it. nothings's toy-perfect...yup i agree..ofcourse.. yeah we do know that. Collector satisfaction is good till next toy comes along lol. Even if u think it is perfect.. the evolution in toy engineering will make it even better. but that is...if youre willing to wait. it depends on anyone's preference. btw having doubles means like.. having same two OVA Mazingers but from different companies..choose which one is better.. then buy it. if doesnt have the features the other one does..then live with it. coz like u said theres no perfect toy. (but for others... maybe its enough.. perhaps not everyone can buy them in multiples... so choose wisely.)

i might add.. i dont really play with my toys.. i love them displayed. Neat firing squad style, not posed. im more on the looks department.. better gimmicks, articulation's just a bonus. Random buys or unplanned buys.. in my opinion.. is just a waste of time, space and money.. and it wont end. and i say it again.. its only my opinion. So im following my list of 1963-1990 robot animes,,, to be displayed with one robot representation each. So imagine the disaster having multiple mazingers and getters displayed on sumones' poor cab just to represent one single anime hehehe... like i said. it depends on anyone preference. (or theme hehe)

This is an intensively emotional moment in my life!
When I was around 5 - 6 yrs old, back in Saudi Arabia, I used to watch a Japanese TV show (dubbed in Arabic) about spaceships and a robot which I used to admire a lot (it was the first "transformable" mecha I ever see).
Growing up, I forgot his face 'n name and the show title but I never forgot his composition and colors! Then, never seeing that again through my past lifetime years, I almost thought that it was just a childhood imagination but my inner mind always believed it was real.
Then, 2 days ago, I was wishing (again) to remember who the hell it was, and just some hours ago HL PRO (LOL) posted a music video on Facebook called Star Fleet. Out of curiosity (cuz I thought it might be related to Duke Fleed), I played it and I was extremely & happily & unbelievably shocked to finally, after all these years [almost 30 years], find out that my missing robot name's Big Dai X from X-Bomber! And... it's created by... GO NAGAI!
I immediately bought its Dynamite Action figure. I can't describe the feeling. It's like collecting a missing part of your best moments from your childhood.

Well that is what collecting is all about. But fair warning on Evolution Toy's Big Dai X. It has QC issues mostly on bad paint apps if you are lucky like me. I heard and read horror stories about it breaking with just regular handling when converting the robot to ships and vice-versa. Compared to other Dynamite Action toys, this figure is terrible. And I am starting to suspect that the reason for the poor QC might be because ET used a different factory. The proof can be obtained when comparing this figure with Daikengo. Both came out around the same time, but Daikengo's quality is way better.

It's the only BDX figure out there and I can't rely on HL PRO's unclear cheesy teaser videos. The eBayer rxmdx I am buying from has 7 negative and 3222 positive feedback I hope he gets 3223 when I receive it!

I know but they are not only pricey... they are not show accurate. That's why I currently don't see except the Dynamite Action around. I will try to be very careful with handling this figure. I am almost like this with my Dynamite Action no.10 (New Getter 1). By the way, what do they mean by saying "2nd Product" in this image?
