Hi
I too am new to the forum and have a collection of items including a mint TETSUJIN SG-01 that I imported from Japan (to the UK) in early 1980's (Japanese packaging). I am looking to sell some of the items and was wondering if anyone had any ideas of current values? I also have mint condition, imported in 1980's:
CLOVER UNRIVALED-ROBOT TRYDER-G7, DALTANIOUS DELUXE POPY PB-81, GODAIKIN GARDIAN, CHOGOKIN VOLTRON LIONBOT GB-36.
I'm not a dealer, just a crazy collector who collected too much!
Be grateful for any advice.

Hi, thanks for starting a fresh topic as requested.
As I said in my previous post, you have some great items. I just purchased a mint godaikin (US version) of SG-01 tetsujin myself.
Price wise, the godaikin and tryder (tryder price also depends on size as there were many different size sets, the big ones are tough to find) are your best pieces and the daltanious would be in the middle. The remaining godaikins would be on the lower end of the spectrum.
The voltron would be in the low mid or high price range depending on if it is popy version, godaikin version, matchbox version, or bootleg. Based on your description, I am guessing you have popy or godaikin version.
Please let me know if you need more help. I will not explicitly offer pricing assistance until we see the condition of some of the items.
There is a very nice collector here I know who is looking for a tryder set. If you have the correct one he wants, he may be interested.
Also, regarding your photos: sometimes the forum does not work. You can always try making a photobucket or flickr album and upload the images there, and then just post a link to the album.

Sounds like you have some nice items. In terms of values, keep in mind that condition plays a huge factor. Therefore, pictures are essential for proper valuation. As noted above, create a photobucket or flikr account to host pictures. They are free. Then you just copy the "img" link they provide and post that here.

You have some great toys there and they look in beautiful shape too.
I'll let others speak to pricing, but as said before the SG-01 is the big ticket item in there.

No I'm an experienced Brand Packaging Designer - so used to doing good mock up shots.
Hence my interest in collecting the Japanese packaging!
