Awesome. Looking at the other pictures in that link, Scoria fits in wonderfully with the other MP toys.

Got my Scoria from Tony : fast : sent on monday, arrive today (thursday) ! This piece is huge ! 1 minus : ratchet joints on hips could be a bit more tight or "strong", but it's okay. Quickly : Legs are heavy due to the diecast in feet. Love the different parts in clear plastic. I never get the G1 Dinobots when I was a kid... Now, it's time to have a revenge ! Gigapower versions will be maybe more impressive... Overall : this toy is a must have for any MP collector, it fits perfectly the MP line G1 feelings is here ! Edit : in robot mode, watch out the tail, it's gold chrome (solid paint) and it can scratch to the dino chest flaps and also in the back hole when it goes in place. (blurrrrrrrrry pic, sorry)

I transformed it in Dino mode : everything snap perfectly in place. Dino is compact and bulky ! Good boy ! Now comes the dilemma : FT Swoop in red or blue ? Blue is G1 anime but red will follow the Dinobot line-up and more aesthetic. Picking both is nonsense... Isn't it ?

Bullsfire Airstrike at Botcon : Nice but looks more like a MMC Reformated design than MP...

They look quite similar actually. Regarding FT linart, the transformation will be the same as Scoria . I transformed my Scoria several times from dino to robot : everything stay in order and align perfectly. FT is on top level ! 1 minor thing is bugging me about design : shoulders could be better with double joints. We could have a stance with shoulders up for angry or b4d4$$ attitude. A+ if they added an articulated kneecap to hide the open angle when bending the leg... Btw, this is a great MP toy, I recommend it so far. Now I am excited by the proposal of Gigapower, just to have a comparison. It's a great competition we got here. If the money comes, I will pick up both company. For the record and the love of beautiful toys and unique pieces.

I should be getting mine next week, I've been reading mixed reviews about the FT Scoria. I'm eager to see what Gigapower turns out.

I mostly buy my stuff from HK or Japanese dealers but I will sometimes buy from BBTS and recently Automaton Toys which is based in Canada but mostly I buy from Amiami and ishop2go.

Ahh ok thanks for the info Have you ever used ages three and up? I've been using them for the majority if my 3rd party stuff but lately they've been unacceptable at shipping stuff out. My Scoria has been "awaiting shipment" over a week now and they still haven't managed to put him in a box and send him and before that they took a week for my FP Diesel. I've now ordered stuff from bbts and they've shipped and today I'm getting a delivery from the states faster than a company that can't ship one item they have in stock. Did I also mention ages three and up is in Vancouver and I live in Victoria... We are f**king neighbors! Super annoyed and might drop then completely. I facebooked them and they told me only one person handles online orders.

They got good connections with the 3rd party companies and gets a lot of test shot proto types. I've seen them in the dealer rooms at Botcon in the past and they have a huge setup but very few collectors buy from them. Even in person, they aren't really friendly to deal with.

My Scoria order status has officially changed from instock and "AWAITING SHIPMENT" to SHIPPED! it only took 8 days... Thanks for the speedy service Ages Three and Up!
Anything that I dont have early birds on I'm just gonna order from elsewhere. I get stuff from the states or freaking HK 3 days faster then for someone to place an item instock into a box and mail it to a place that is a 2 hour ferry ride away.
Thanks for the info guys. I'll check them out.
