After buying their version of Shockwave, I consider their release as a true complementary line for Transformers MP collectors. Strong and beautiful products.

I'm getting these my only problem is that these Dinobots are 10" tall which is over a inch taller then MP-08 so Fanstoys will either make their own Grimlock or there better be a upgrade kit to make MP-08 taller.

Yep, MP-08 is out of scale... I made this comparo pic just to have a better idea : If it's a 10 inches, this is what we get (QuakeWave is about 13 inches tall) : Yes, tiny...

Are you sure Quakewave is 13" tall? I am pretty sure that it is no bigger than 10-11" in height. In that comparison picture Quakewave is only a little bit taller than MP-08 Grimlock. And if this FT masterpiece Slag is 10" tall and is only up to Grimlocks chest, then it is okay and kind of in scale with MP-08 Grimlock. This FT MP Slag in reality is taller than MP-08 Grimlock. Which is why MP-08 is out of scale and is too small. But like Chen, I remember MP-08 Grimlock being shorter. And MP-10 Optimus @ 12-13" ? I though it was only around 10" tall or so.

Fantoys makes awesome products, there Shockwave is as good or better then some Masterpices.
Also MP-10 Optimus Prime is around 9.5" tall, Fantoys Quakewave is around 9.25" tall. MP-01/04 is around 12" tall. So this Slag will be taller then both MP-10 and Quakewave.
And also it states that Slag will come with extra parts to make MP-08 almost as tall so I'm guessing it will come with lifts for the feet to make MP-08 taller.

I will correct the scale compare tomorrow.,, If they are releasing MP Dinobots, I just hope for a whole set, that means sludge need to rocks the party too.

The difference? If this was KO, it would cost less than $50. In order for it to be a KO this has to be released by Fantoys first and then some cheap company comes in recast all the parts and assemble them cheaply with poor paint apps and poor QC.

Based on how much you guys liked Quakewave, I may pick one of these up. I am hoping for clear parts like the G1 toys, and the brontosaurus.

I just love how the rear beast leg stored very tidily inside the Robot Mode's legs. A lot of cues were taken from MP Grimlock's design it seemed.
EDIT:
More facts I learned about this as I'm reading the TFW2005 Forum, excerpts were taken from dalianjj, FT representative.
- Price is going to be about USD 200 - FT-04's mould has more than 100 parts compared to Quake Wave's mould - Head height is 25cm,total height with dino head hood is 27 cm - It's going to include extra parts that will make MP-08 stand (nearly) as tall as FT-04! - There are news that the factory that made the KO MP-10 plans to release an upscaled MP Grimlock next year!!

I was excited at the news of extra parts for MP Grimlock (and them making more Dinobots, of course), but platform shoes don't really cut it. Grimlock no Lady Gaga. Not sure how they could have done it right. It would need at least a larger head and bigger hands. Though that wouldn't make it taller. Unless we open up the beast to swap a few limbs, I guess we'd really need a new Grimlock.
That said, if they look good together in dino mode, it could be very hard not to grab a set. $200 a piece is a bit much, though.

I always hate its right hand : close fist only for a led gimmick (lighted sword). Edit : The shot angle is hidding the shell-wings attached to the back. These are a the whole dino mode flank. Ok it's G1 toy/anime accurate, but if they can give a folding solution to reduce them a bit...
