Awww, poor Sever is about to cry    At this point, it's still a a toss up, can't really go wrong with one over the other. I like the bulkier version from Gigapower but FT version hides the Dino leg kibble. Still fair matchup unlike FT Soar vs BullsFire AirStrike (MP Swoop). That was a slaughter. I feel as if Anyone that buys AirStrike must not know about the existence of Soar. |

I allready started to collect the FT versions and the GP proposal is very impressive.
Will pick both and pass all FP, Planet X or the Shuraking combiner (damn).
GP staff are nice guys and I will give them my support.
They taked time to listen the collectors on forum and FB to improve their models.
They announced yesterday the schedule. Last dinobot will be ready for 1st 2016 quarter...
Check the FB page, they gived a lot of feedbacks and news.
The long waiting is the chrome version (limited).
Imo I will take the first release to have a metallic gold and compet with FT on my shelf.

GP has three review samples out, and from what I've seen, the quality of the reviewed figures are nearly assured. We haven't seen any review samples out for Sever, and even FT had a few QC issues when their Scoria and Soar were released. Here are some new official shots of FT Sever.       |

I am going with GP over FT, price is the same for a bigger bot. I also like the line art they showed for their version of Swoop. The shoulders on that one is very Gundam like. I still think it's a toss up because FT has built a solid fan base and has release two dinobots already. There will be a lot that will collect the full line of FT dinobots. Also, the one edge FT has over GP again is the Dino leg kibble. There are collectors that simply won't accept that design choice. The one thing I don't like about this GP Snarl is the torso does look a little round. It does appear to look somewhat fat. But the head sculpt/design is better than FT and looks great next to MP Ultra Magnus.

I just love Vangelus' reviews! He's so entertaining Classic review. Leg kibble or not, Gigapower (to me) seems the better choice. Just looking at it, side by side with Ultra Magnus is enough to convince me. |

BBTS has both for around $200, same with TFsource. Robot Kingdom has it for $154.90 but their shipping is pretty high though.
