Yep, Playstation account turn to PS+ account to access multiplayer mode. That means paying each month to access multi. Sony turns to a XBLA mode. The good : stability during playing. PS3 multi was not stable. I know people playing hard in street fighter IV championship : they are playing all with a Xbox. Lag and/or servers disconnection can't work with competition.

I got mine and my experience was horrible. I got a dead unit out of the box put the video up on youtube long story short after 3 hours of driving courtesy of the manager's at the sony store being uninformed i managed to get a functioning unit. The system is great but the experience has left a sour taste in my mouth.

I want one soooo bad, but I'm going to wait for them to work out all the inevitable launch bugs first, and build a more robust library. However, I am excited about a couple of the launch titles. One of which is the free to play Warframe, and I've been playing that on my PC. Can't wait to give that a go on the PS4. The other is Injustice. I know it's out for all the current gen consoles and the PC, but I'm gonna wait now especially since I have a new arcade stick on the way that is compatible with the PS4.

One other complaint I have is the lack of a USB port on the rear. I hate seeing clutter on the front especially if you are just charging the controller.

I love the console but yea having a console crap out on day 1 doesnt inspire confidence. I asked them for a discount on a game or something for their screw up on making me drive twice out there and they didnt care. I agree i dont get it why its so hard for Sony to include a USB port in the back. I hate seeing clutter as well so im using my cable box to charge my controllers.

I like my PS4. Resogun is reaaaaaally fun and Killzone is drop dead gorgeous (although it's also stupidly difficult - I don't know if I'm just out of practice at playing console shooters or what but I'm having a hell of a time getting through the first few stages). AC4 is pretty on the PS4 - nothing revolutionary, but everything is smooth and silky in motion.

I charged my PS3 controllers that way too but for some reason, the PS4 controllers keeps resetting my Verizon FIOS tv box I plug the controller and boom.....Box resets on a loop cycle. I can't charge them with Apple chargers either. They do charge with my VAIO laptop. I read somewhere that you can use "Android" chargers too but I haven't tried that.

I got mine on launch and have most of the launch titles thanks to me being unable to refuse an awesome deal (Target B2G1 + 30% off).
The system itself is quite elegant, and the new controller is as awesome as everyone says it is.
Here are updated quick impressions of the launch games that I had written up at a different forum (CAG):
Assassin's Creed IV BF: Just started this tonight now that it's been patched to 1080p, and it's been fun so far. I haven't really played an AC game since AC2, but I see a lot of potential for fun with the pirate setting. Also, it looks pretty darn nice for a port of a last-gen game
Battlefield 4: SP-only impressions - great graphics, and the gunplay is reminiscent of the last BF that I played (BFBC2; this is a plus for me). My save data somehow got corrupted, which was pretty annoying; luckily I'd only played through the first two missions
COD Ghosts: I wasn't going to keep this but am glad I did (already have KZ and BF4), because I've had quite a bit of fun with it so far. The gameplay feels different enough from BF4 that I think it's OK to have both (COD plays more like an arcade shooter because of its pace). I'm also liking the campaign much more than BF4's
Contrast: Haven't been wowed with the gameplay, but the art direction is strong. Didi's mom has an... interesting silhouette >_>
FIFA 14: Not a huge fan of the sport but have fun with the games - graphics are good, and I've had fun playing it so far
Injustice: First impressions - these graphics are rough! Probably very close to how it looks on PS3, though it's funny that the in-game graphics are actually better than the cinematics. The actual gameplay is fine and reminiscent of MK
Killzone SF: SP-only impressions - it's certainly pretty, but the opening is rather boring. The stuff with the robot sidekick is kind of neat
Knack: Only played through the beginning, and it's actually pretty fun and a nice change of pace from everything else in the launch lineup. I'd probably rate it at least a 6/10 vs. the 4's it had gotten at a few places
LEGO Marvel: Wasn't going to get this one as I have not liked the LEGO games in the past, but I've been having an absolute blast playing this with my GF. Looks great, has a great sense of humor, and it's great being able to play as so many different Marvel characters. If I had to say something negative, it'd be that some of the puzzle / level design has been a bit odd
NBA 2K14: My killer app, as I'm a huge basketball fan. I've been having a lot of fun with MyCareer, though my one frustration has been trying to grab rebounds with my center! I'm boxing out and everything and still can't seem to get my guy to actually grab the ball, even with decent rebounding stats. I've got Jamal Crawford-esque averages (high pts, almost no rebs or asts) with a 7'1" center!
NFS Rivals: Just got it tonight, and the training missions at the beginning left a fairly good impression. I'm sure I'll think it's awesome once I experience some of the integrated multiplayer as I keep playing
Resogun: Definitely fun to play and pretty to look at, but it hasn't hooked me yet due to so many other games competing for my PS4 time so far!
PSN ID is EternalVendetta - I'm not big on online gaming these days but still dabble here and there, and it'd be cool to play with you guys!

I'd also just like to point out that the remote play with the Vita works just as well as one could hope. Unfortunately I haven't been able to get it to connect via the internet (probably have to futz with port forwarding on my router... ugh), but the local direct connection works well and it's very responsive. I played through the first hour or so of Contrast while sitting in bed while the GF was watching Glee. The only real bummer is that because the Vita obviously lacks the L2/R2 and clickable sticks, you have to use the rear touch pad to do those functions. With a game like Resogun where you need to be able to hit the bomb or overdrive at a moment's notice, it's just too imprecise (at least without significant practice) to rely on, but at the very least the concept works exactly as advertised. Now if only I can get it to connect via the internet so I can play my PS4 while I'm on lunch break at work

I watched a South Park episode yesterday, episode #17 the Black Friday episode... (it's already up at YouTube) ...the SP kids divided into two rival groups, one group was for the Xbox1, and the rival group was for the PS4. Meanwhile, the mall security staff were bracing themselves for "war"... Hilariuous!!! zozo-mag
