Despite getting a replacement Daioja I am still faced with the same QC issue. The 'head' half of the blue robot that becomes the leg has the problem.
The blue piece that forms the smaller robot waist/hip that folds down on a double hinge moves ok into leg position BUT than will not return to the robot position. It is the smaller pin hinge directly next to the Daioja red knee cap that is frozen.
This happened on my previous Daioja, has anybody else had this issue and found a remedy? I'm sure my supplier would yet again accept a return but the product is now unavailable through them.
EDIT: its not the pin but the little gray flap that opens/closes under daiojas red kneecap, the hole is very tight, probably need to shave a bit off.

Ask chachipower or check if he did a video review on his channels. He had Daioja for a long time and was telling me about the figure. There may be a review on collectiondx as well, not sure.
I know people talked about certain areas being very tight on that figure.

Yeah off the top of my head I cant remember all the issues I had aside from letting it drop on the ground lol. I did have issues with the release button on o e of the thighs. It was glued so it doesnt press in. I can check mi e out for this problem if I can get a pic or something. Ask chachipower or check if he did a video review on his channels. I have filed a tiny amount from the offending area and now the plastic flap moves in and out of its hole no problem, issue solved. Only other issue I had was getting the head back out from the torso on the leg robot, I found the little section you can push that is connected to the neck plate BUT in pushing it even with a fingernail it removed the paint! Despite, overall I find Daioja a joy, the transformation is quite amazing.
chachipower, love your videos btw, persuaded me to part with some $.
