Really liking the lower legs and the waist pistons look kick ass. Hope they don't dirty it up more. Now its perfect (I find that weathered paintjobs these companies do sometimes go overboard with the rust).

the hip looks better in this shot - i still can't get the image of the first photo out of my head, though... I'll bet if you saw this in person it would be a lot more impressive because of all the detailing. I'm still not a big fan, but I wouldn't say it sucks.

Wow...this is one design I'm really not feeling. To me he looks like he was built with extra locomotive parts. :/

I think that's the idea. It looks like something a backyard inventor would build if he/she didn't have millions. The hips make technogical sense since it would be easier to have leg articulation with the joint on the side then underneath. Then again making a humanoid war machine makes little sense since a insect design or something with four wheels would be much better and stable. Its like pushing over a person compared to a table.

There's a sign that says "design to approve". Maybe Go Nagai hasn't given his consent yet?
Wait... I was wrong... maybe it says "financing to approve" !

There is actually a fairly big difference between these two pictures and it makes me wonder which is actually more accurate. This first one is squat and chunky, whereas the second is more standard in it's proportions and in my opinion looks much better. This really shows how much difference it makes when using different poses, different cameras, and different lighting when displaying a figure. I do not like how the figure looks in the first picture at all, but the second one makes me think this figure is ok. I'm guessing that the hips are still relatively wide. The second picture is posed in a way that doesn't emphasize this area as much. What I really would like to see at this point is picture that is straight on.

Nice. Hopefully that would keep this item within a reasonable price range, depending on the size of this figure and the density of the materials in the figure's parts. I also think stuff such as weathering effect details do seem to capture quite well on those two soft-type materials. zozo-mag Did I miss something? the shoulder handles remind me of the MD Giest armor. It looked great on him, and it served a functional purpose.
Now that's a die cast figure I'd love to see, MD Giests armor design was one of the most incredible designs ever made In my personal opinion. Holds up even today...
