We just have to realize that these pieces that were "common" a few years ago and now seem incredibly rare are still out there in someone's collection and there is a good chance that they will reenter the marketplace as collectors move on to other lines or other priorities.

I kick myself for passing on the RFs I don't have 10 years ago.The prices by todays standard were insane. I scored a boxed BFJ and boxed Gordian both for what the average boxed poseidon goes for now.One thing I've been noticing is some of the villains and characters such as Daiku Maryu and earlier JMs haven't changed drastically in price from what I remember( and looking at market prices I had recorded) from 8+ years ago.The insane prices are for the stuff which comes from the end of days of the JM line.The RFs and the JMs like T28, Godmars ( with the blocky wheelless feet) which really have the interest of kids who were 10 years younger that are seriously taking up collecting as they've gotten older. May not be right at all,just what I feel I've been observing for a while now…life took me away from being active collecting for a while but you can never get JMs out of your blood…. lol

Ok, makes sense now....you're not a fool, who would've known that they would triple in price in such a short time.

What I can't stand is when a seller on E-Bay has some awesome jumbos that he found inside a storage locker or estate sale. I know it's their jobs and they're entitled to make a living but it makes me so jealous. Imagine coming across your most wanted items that way? It would be awesome.
