I remember when the Binaltechs and Alternators came out, thought they were so cool. It was some time before MP Transformers became THE thing to collect for TF fans. Looking back, there were some really cool designs, esp the alt modes with opening doors, hood, etc. But some of the bot modes were okay but some were downright ugly. This Rodimus had to be one of the ugliest Rodimus ever made. Def had its cool factor back then but I would never display it in bot mode today.

I am on the opposite end. I think the Rodimus is one of the best bot sculpt among Bineltechs (given mine is the import version with the stripes, not the flames in the Alternators). Even comes with a cute girl and some dim sum. How cool is that!

Different strokes for different folks.
