I picked up a Robot Factory Battle Fever J and noticed it is does not have weighted Feet. Are all RF Jumbos like this? Just curious cause I notice a few others do not as well. Combattler, Poseidon etc. I think weighted feet are one of the best features of these toys.

None of the Robot Factory have weighted feet. I guess that Poseidon make sens since he's got the tank gimmick, same for Combattler V and I guess that Voltes V is also like that. I need to check to be sure but I wouldn't be surprised it's the case.

I thought Combattler had some mini weights stuck inside the foot from the inner square cover plates.

Mine does bourno. Combattler has the same plastic tubes filled with powder that my Grendizer has.

Interesting. I've check on mine and it doesn't really feel weighted, maybe because it's not that super heavy. It's more noticable on other jumbos like Getta 2, but on both my Voltes V and my Combattler V it's almost impossible to tell.

I just checked my Combattler, not sure how I could get inside to see those plastic tubes. The reason I brought this up, I compared the LJN and the Popy Golion figures and the Popy one does have weighted feet making it feel like a different toy when you lift it. Kind of weird all the RF Jumbos have none yet the Tetsujin 28 which came out later has two big weighted feet. Thanks Bourno about the BFJ. it will be the only RF one I own since I can't ever afford the others. I did get to hold a Gordian once didn't think about it much then but if I could recall, it felt light as a feather like a wind could have blown it away.

The LJN Voltrons never had weighted feet. I always chalked it up to the fact that they added the large remote controlled base and it wasn't necessary, or they eliminated it as a cost cutting and/or safety measure (remember missile functions were pulled as well). Also, the voltron stands pretty well on its own. Have to adjust a bit when holding the sword but not much.

Zambot, on the inside of the feet are little "doors" that are screwed on. If my memory isn't completely gone, the weights are in there.

Ah. I see those panels. Will take your word on that. No need to open them. Were the villains feet weighted at all? I don't have any to see.

Found this.... Tubes look like this.... Salt and Pepper!!! Just kidding, folks. lol Yep, those are the sand-filled weight tubes, found inside many (of not most) jumbo's legs. If not for those weights, the jumbo would just fall over or get blown down in a strong wind. If you like having those weights inside your jumbos, you have the option to keep them inside the jumbo or change them for some other material. If you change the material, change the material INSIDE those bottles... ...do NOT use any material such as plaster or putty/gravel mix inside the jumbo's actual legs. Why? Because materials such as plaster and putty/gravel mix would solidify and cure to the form of the cavity inside the leg; they also tend to expand a bit thus cracking the plastic. Then it would be almost impossible to get that stuff out unless you slam the leg ont the pavement or another hard surface or whack it with a hammer, thus causing damage to the jumbo's plastic. For my own taste, I personally never liked having any weights inside the legs of my jumbos ( except loose change and dollar bills, lol). I only have six jumbos (three are with me here at home, the others: at my mom's in PR), and I've take the weights out of all of them and tossed the weights away. For my own future reference:If I obtain any more jumbos later on down the road, I'll take the weights out of their legs and I'll offer the weights or the empty bottles to anyone here who may need them. For general reference:In case any of your jumbos does not have weights, you can always make your own by saving your plastic juice bottles, such as the long slim tube bottles shown in this pic... ...just fill 'em up with sand, or gravel; and seal them shut with hot glue or PVC pipe cement, or by cauterizing (heat-seal) the openings sealed shut. Slim bottles will also work, as long as you're able to fit them in and out through the top of the leg openings. zozo-mag

As mentioned, none of the Robot Factory jumbos have any weights and are fine. I kind of like it that way. This gives me more play value with the motorized base from the commander voltron toy. Just use some twisty ties to hold feet on there and you now have an instant RF Jumbo Machinder Mover to scare your cats with. Or play robot battle with a friend with two of those. I guess I would have to repaint that base to match the colors of the robot I put onto it.
