Hey all. I was wondering on a Daitetsujin 17 PB-10 ST base, are the ships/vehicles the same size as the Godaikin GA-81 Daitetsujin 17? Or is the scale to far off? I got a super nice Daitetsujin with the box. It is only missing 3 out of 4 missiles, the vehicles, and the foam. If any one has them to compare for an answer, repro parts, or might sell some original parts let me know. I never realized it was so small either. All the pictures I see shows it by itself and it is portrayed the size of like a DX Bioman but its actually only the size of an ST Bioman. Kinda like Daidenjin. he looks big and is called a DX even though he is near ST size. Anyway, let me know what you come up with.

The base is pretty much in the same scale as the deluxe figure. If you convert the figure to base mode, they are pretty close. But I did not compare accessories. I think I have both MIB and complete, but my memory might be failing me. I can try to look over the weekend - I just have to dig them out, which is no easy task.  As to the deluxe figure, its probably the same size as the deluxe Leopardon and Daidenjin, as you mentioned. Both of those also had standard versions made. I am curious why D-17 did not. Maybe it was planned and scrapped. The decision to release two sized figures (aside from all the mini figures), ignoring Gaiking (the deluxe Daiku Maryu included the mini Gaiking, but this was a deluxe issue), was Combattler, which came out before D-17. So the precedent was there. Dangard Ace and Voltes STs and DXes were also issued before D-17. |

Awesome reply Kingboy. Sounds like they are the same. I wouldn't doubt the accessories are the same then either. It would be dumb if they're the relative same size and the accessories were different. Thanks again.

I just checked, and unfortunately, although I own the box, my Fortress is missing its accessories! UGH!!!! Not happy. Sorry I couldn't confirm for you.
