I just unboxed my MISB Gingaioh, and because one of the foil stickers I placed on Gingat's (the white-pink arm) rump was crooked, I peeled it off to try correct it's position. I seem to have the darndest luck, because the sticker stripped the chrome plating off the rump too!! Either the chrome was poor in quality or the sticker was too strong, I suggest that you guys shouldn't peel-off any sticker applied on any chromed part of Gingaioh or it's components... I'm still fuming Sooo.... does anybody have a junker Gingat thay they're willing to part with at a reasonable price? Even the Lost Galaxy Megazord is fine, as long as the rump plates are in good condition, meaning the chrome hasn't rubbed-off (it's chrome, isn't it? from many picture that I've seen, I have an impression that the American version wasn't chromed). Thanks in advance.

I managed to get some replacement parts from the US release of Gingaioh, but then I noticed that these plates are painted chrome silver rather than vacuum metalized. But it's not too much of a problem. The actual problem lies in disassembling the cat to swap the plats without wrecking it. Does anybody have a suggestion how I can do that?

Are you asking about separating plates parts to do the swap? You might have to find a seam where the panels join. Do you have a picture of the parts and the area on the figure?
Also, how much chrome came off? Can't you just use spray adhesive and place the sticker back in the correct spot, or was the chrome that peeled off bigger than the area the sticker covers?

Are you asking about separating plates parts to do the swap? You might have to find a seam where the panels join. Do you have a picture of the parts and the area on the figure? Yes. If you happen to have this piece I'm talking about, you'll notice that the posterior part where the plates I want to swap is connected to the anterior part which is formed by a 2 parts shell joined together by screws, but also "locked" by the head animal head (I'll take pictures later just to be clear). Looks like I'll have to pry off the head because it seemed to be glued, but if I do this, it means I have to do the same thing to the unit that I want to fix. I have to remove the plates without damaging the units. Also, how much chrome came off? Can't you just use spray adhesive and place the sticker back in the correct spot, or was the chrome that peeled off bigger than the area the sticker covers? This is exactly how it has been since the incident, but knowing that I have a "damaged" unit, it gives me sleepless nights! Kidding
