Hey Guys, I'm hosting an event here in Lowell Massachusetts on 3/29 called Super Robots Giant Monsters. It's going to be an alternative to the yearly summit we throw. We're going to have an Art Gallery, Pop-up toy museum, Vendors and more. You can check out details here: www.collectiondx.com/srgmWe're looking for art submissions - I know a lot of RJ members are SUPER talented and we'd love to show your art or toy customs, and you can even sell them if you like. Check out the call for artists here: www.collectiondx.com/srgm/callforartistsAlso, we've got some cool sponsors on board, hopefully cool giveaways and maybe even convention exclusive toys. I'd love for RJ to be a part of it. Shoot me an email at josh@collectiondx.com if you'd like to participate! Josh

What I'd give just to attend these kind of events. Our toy conventions here are now overshadowed by cosplay events that has nothing to do with super robots.

Hey Guys, We're only a month away and we're working on a vintage toy gallery spanning the 60s through today, set up with a museum quality attention to detail. Should be a great time for those who can attend!

Wish I could attend since I'm just 172 miles west of that location. But that's what happens when I don't have my own wheels. lol Good luck with your event, and bring back some pics! zozo-mag

Would love to come to your event Josh. Unfortunately I am on the other side of the continent... though I have been checking out your podcast and watched quite a few of the older ones (something to listen to during work). Good luck on the event, and thanks for all the work and effort on your show & site. Very imformative and pretty fun to listen to.

I'll be there as well, with a table, so cool to meet some more of you guys from the boards. (I think I already know half the people coming, LOL) The display exhibit is going to be pretty epic too! Cabinets and room displays featuring toys progressing from 50's to 80's! Free entry to this show! Just drive on up. There is NO show in the Northeast with this kind of focus, both dealer, toy, toy makers, and artist wise. Get to Massachootsits on the 29th.

There are a few local hotels, but public transportation is not great. If you stay in Boston you can take the commuter rail to lowell and it's a 10 minute walk at most.

This show turned out awesome. Sorry if any R-J members showed up, and I didn't realize it was you, LOL! Look for pics on CDX, Facebook, and the web later.
Just for reference, if you were there, as you came out of the first hall from the elevator, the first vendors you saw were Mike(MrGinrai) and his bro were the long table display along the left wall, and myself and Phil form SeriousToyz had the right hand corner booth with lots of robot & monster stuff.

Haha yes, Jon and I were rocking it - crazy amounts of robots and vintage toys to greet the people as they walked in. It was an amazing event and wait until you see the gallery pics that show up, you will love them.

I believe 800+/- people was the final count. Really did well on that front.
