Wow, that many? That is a serious turnout if true.
Anyone that went, please post pics or links to others' pics!

I used my co-tabler friends camera, so don't have any to load yet, until I get a download copy, but if on Facebook, a lot was posted.

OK, now some of the best part for a bunch of us, was the gallery toy displays. Basically, there were two glassed in window displays, to represent a Japanese kids room, and an American kids room, with the renamed American released toys from the 70's/80's Then, in a big room behind those two room displays on the main hallway, there was a long row of built in display shelving, that we grouped in decade form starting with 50's Rayguns, robots, space ufo's and car, to 60's tin walkers and kaiju, to several cases of 70's and then 80's toys, so the rough progression could be seen all in one place. It was really really cool to see so much quality, excellent condition stuff in one place, and I know many attendees appreciated it, but some had no idea what they were looking at, LOL. Japanese kids room. (yes, Josh Fraser, Sanjeev, Mason, and NekroDave, gets heavy credit for setting this up, and bringing the tatami floor mat, and little cool furniture touches to make the look so great. There was some amazing, amazing items in this display, that most of us don't get to ever see in person. Look close. The more you look, the more your eyes will pop! (Just realized, I took pics too late, and a couple items like the huge Diapallon store display were already taken out, sorry, ...) The American kids room display. Everything was themed pretty well, right down to the chair, the stereo, posters, etc., and counterpart toys to the Japan room. Dave hung up Rodan flying on fishing line, it was epic!

MY EYES!!! MY EYES!!! SENSORY OVERLOAD!!! Man, just looking at those pics overwhelms me... if I had been there in person I would've been carried out on a stretcher! It's good to see many of our RJ brothers together at events like these, just hangin out and setting up their booths. Of all that eye-candy, there were two items that really stood out to me: the Monogram Shogun Warrior Great Mazinger model kit (I gotta find one soon!) and that framed Yuusha Raideen sketch on the wall inside that gallery! I would love to grab a soldering iron and sketch some super robots onto thin sheets of 2x4 quarter-inch thick plywood or balsa wood. Thanks for sharing and posting the pics, this made my night! zozo-mag

...the Monogram Shogun Warrior Great Mazinger model kit (I gotta find one soon!)... Bro, you already have one! The large scale bandai mazinger kit Tom sent you at Christmas is exactly the same (yours is a1998 reissue, but it was released first in the 70s) the shogun box was just the American reissue of it '78 in crappy colored plastic.

Wow! I never knew that the box was an American rendition of the original kit! (See! I've just learned something new here! lol) I figured there was something Obviously familiar about that Great Mazinger Monogram kit compared to the original Bandai version. But I never knew that the Monogram version's difference was just the box. The only two Monogram kits I ever had back in the late '70s were Grendizer and Raideen. But I was just a careless kid back then and I lost those models over time ahead. The weather's gettin nice and mild in my region, so now's a good time to gather some paint and supplies to start building/finishing these model kits which I now have. Thaaaaanks! zozo-mag

Damn, Jonathan, you killed it with those photos!!!! Thanks so much for doing such an in-depth job documenting the show. I'd seen snapshots, bits and pieces, online. But I didn't get the full breadth of the displays and such. Truly looked like an epic time. Those "rooms" and window cabinets were really well done. A great mix of diecast, tins, vinyls, JMs, posters, etc.
I did not realize that the T28 DX box was that large! Its bigger than the Orgroid box, although the toy itself is much smaller. Yes, it comes with some accessories. Still, I did not expect that size. Now I know why the price is always so high.
I'm not going to get much work done today - gonna pore over these pics for a while now!

OK, look again at the pics to see what you missed last year, because it's happening again!!
I'm sure JoshB will post up an official announcement, but so far the info is it's happening April 25th 2015. Make. Some. Plans!
Plenty of forewarning this time.
This was too much fun, and more of this crowd should be there, as vendors, artists, of just to hang out and cruise around. Nothing in the Northeast quite like this show theme.
I'll be in again as a vendor, and contributor as much as I can, likely teaming up tables with a couple others.
Who's going to be there? C'mon guys, we need this.
