Yeah... Just like with Classic Super Robots, Official Heights are usually inconsistent with the actual anime sizes. The SOC got the anime sizes down perfectly: }D Even I have to admit, the SOC version looks a helluva lot better than this DA rendition. When it came to producing Godmars for this toy line, the manufacturer should've used square-shaped articulated magnets that would at least keep Godmars' blocky limbs appearing consistent. Round ball magnets are better suited for robots which have cylinder-shaped limbs. Look at this toy line's Godmars figure... it's a very nice figure that looks like a stack of Legos interconnected with marbles. The manufacturer may as well have turned this toy into a Pinball machine. zozo-mag

Its unfortunate. But don't think this release will sell at all, from the look of the prototype. It may be cheaper than SOC (but probably not by a lot), but the quality of the sculpt is miles behind. The only think that I think may save this release is to have an awesome anime paintjob like this: kotaku.com/80s-cartoon-classic-comes-to-life-as-incredible-model-1466494917Its the only saving grace of that sculpt...I'm afraid.

Are we sure Gaia is shorter than the two arms? I find it pretty weird, I watched a couple of episodes and Gaia didn't look shorter than those two It is. Â I think I have the anime in a hard drive somewhere. Â If I find it, I'll take some screen captures of the six robots together. }D Man I need to watch that some time

ET needs to make a Diapolon. @ Baron:We outta hang out more often! I really could never get into those Wayne's World movies. Once or twice on Saturday Night Live is fine when it's rare. Bill and Ted... never seen the movie, never got into that stuff. lol @ TMZ:The only fish food we serve at my job is Flounder, Caviar, Shrimp, Calamari, and Crab Cakes. The only foods I eat at my workplace are Pasta Bolognese, Barbarone, and my own super-roasted Spinach-RedPepper-Cheese-HeavyCream Omelet. Back on topic............ The robot Daiapolon is an unsung heroic robot among the classic super-robots. It has hardly enjoyed any toy/action-figure love. I don't know why. There have been some Daiapolon resin statue kits made, but they are far and few in between. Daiapolon would be a nice action-figure as an SOC, SRC, CMs, ET, or any other well-known toy line. I'm really not a Daiapolon fan, never seen the anime show; but nonetheless that robot deserves more spotlight in toy/action-figure form... ...even as a model kit, at the very least; but he definitely needs more toy time. zozo-mag

I watched a couple of Diapolon episodes, and to be honest, I think it was bad. I don't know, it just did not grab my attention at all. But you know what show is surprisingly entertaining? Xabungle! I had never seen an episode, because it was described as an Old West story with giant robots. However, I started watching it the other day and found myself glued to the TV! I watched 6 episodes one after the other, and would've continued if my wife hadn't scolded me for spending too much time watching anime. They have the series for download at NMM.com, but it has Spanish subs. Still, it is surprisingly good. }D

Xabungle would be nice to see in this toy line (and/or in the SRC line as well). I remember having a small plastic Xabungle figure that I picked up at a Chinese gift shop on my way home from school (the Bronx, at 149th/Merlose). The Voltron series was on, and I'd have the Xabungle figure with me as I watched Voltron. zozo-mag

Hmmm... the "eat your words for the NMM lead" comment just went over my head! What do you mean by that? As far a Xabungle, yes, it is pretty cool! It has a weird drawing style, but the sound effects are pretty much straight from Mazinger 1970's anime. The storyline is very interesting and filled with funny moments that do not fall in "idiotic", like so many other anime out there. }D

Too bad that version is subbed in Spanish. No worries, I'll find an English version somewhere. As for the series itself, I knew the sound effects were sounding familiar. The main character's face looks like "Thomas the Train". ...damn, 50 episodes! Here I go again. Schmbluuuuuuuuuugh. lol zozo-mag

Why not mention NewMundoMazinger.com AKA NMM.com as the source? Yeah, like I said, the drawing style is not what I'm used to in anime, but it is very cool story anyway... }D
