Not sure if there is already a thread for this but I'm curious. I'm guessing the answer to this would be any one of the Shogun Warriors releases. I have a different path. Never had Jumbos as a child and as an adult collector was more interested in Chogokin since those were the toys I had growing up. Although I admired them, I never took the big plunge to buy them. (something I regret) On a whim, I put a bid on a not great condition lot of Shogun Warriors, Mazinga, Raydeen, Gaiking and Dragun. After that, I never stopped collecting. The sheer magnitude of these toys with the detail, size and colors will never be replicated by another line again.

I started with the 3"&5" Shogun Warriors also. Bought the first jumbo that I'd ever seen at the age of 15 at a yardsale. Gaiking. Not being part of the comic series that I was used to, and only seeing him in a 3" version, he fasinated me and I had to have him!

Not sure what age I was, most likely around 9. For Christmas, got a 2nd version jumbo Raydeen and Godzilla, along with the 5" GaiKing, and believe got the Space 1999 ship that year as well. Trying to remember if anything else I may have gotten at the time or not.

First and only jumbo I got was the LJN giant voltron MIB years ago. I never see jumbos around, always just other toys I collect so when I stumbled on it with sword and all I just had to get it. Close enough in general to a popy for me to take the plunge.
I recently sold it because it was not fitting with the direction I was going specifically with my Japanese toys. If I ever stumble across a mekanda, gordian or battle fever, or maybe a godsigma at the right price I'll probably pull the trigger. Aesthetically, those just look great to me.
