Just pulled the trigger on my first Revoltech. Couldnt resist the great price on the Mysterians Moguera. Probably going to pick up the King Caesar as well. My questions for those that have any, or all, of these figures; Do they always come unsealed? Mine has no tape at the box flaps, or inside, holding the trays together. Also, have you experienced broken joints/connection-points? Just a little wary of breaking the thing. Looks like everything is there, but the lack of sealed box threw me there. Thanks in advance for any help!

My first Revoltech figure is #36 Mazinkaiser. I love it. But, yes, I also was surprised by the box arriving unsealed--- --- as in, no plastic shrink-wrap seal on the outer box... ...just the gold tape, and clear sticky tabs keeping the box shut. Later on I had also acquired the Robo Getter 1 with the two rifles, and the Dangaioh Revoltech figures... same packaging spiel as well.
Early last summer I gave away my Revoltech Getter in a trade for something else with another RJer.
I hardly play with my Revoltechs, which right now I only have Mazinkaiser and Dangaioh. I would rather play with them than disturb my diecast figures. But, I also try to be careful when posing my Revoltech figures because sometimes I'm afraid I might break something on them, namely their Joints. Therefore I always change their poses every few days to keep the joints moving freely and not let them stiffen up due to inactivity.
Another thing I enjoy about the Revoltech line: They lend their flexibility to allow modification, IF I were to go that far with them. I cannot do that with a diecast figure.
As for the Revoltech Joints, eBay is clustered with spare Revoltech joints from Hong Kong sellers-- even in huge random lots, so, if I ever need spare joints for making Custom figures I'll know where to look. The Revoltech Joints are so versatile they'll work on Anything you could throw at them. I've got an idea for making a custom camera tripod using three plastic Bic pen tubes mounted to a base with Revoltech joints to split the pen tubes open like "tripod legs".
Back on topic.... now that you scored a Revoltech Mogera figure, you might as well collect that entire Kaiju line of monsters along with the Revoltech Mazer Cannon truck.

i had a Revoltech Getter 3 that came with a broken leg joint. I had extas and used that to replace it. I still have some Revoltechs. For me, the best part about them is that playing with them is Not as stressful as when Posing an SOC or other robot line. I never did get Moguera.

Thanks for the responses. This box had no tape anywhere. Not on the box, nor in the tray area. Just used to toys having a seal, if they are new. Still, such a cool toy all around. Gotta get more!

To get to your actual question...LOL....No they dont come taped.
I hate revoltingpretzels.I own a few unfortunately, only because they dont have other figures out for thecharacter like Getter Arc,Getter robo go and a Mazinkaiser and Getter Robo from Magengar.
They are plastic pretzels.BTW they dont come with tape on the box usually sketcher.Hate the joints, they never are truly 180 degrees, pull one out, they are always slightly bent, causing no straight up poses, just Yoga.
Save your money and for the price of 2 or 3 get an SRC.Unless you collect non Super Robots, then do what you like! Moguera isnt that a Godzilla guy?get Kaiju instead, much more gratifying.Unless you liketying sailors knots with toys.LOL.
Sorry as you can see I dont like Revoltech. The joint system sucks,I like toothpicks better.

Revoltechs are not that bad IMO, but they are not cheap either these days. I have to say that their Gaiking and Black Getter are the best looking figures of those two characters to this day. Mazinkaiser is not far behind either. The Shin Getter is very nice too, as is their Dancouga. The original Getter trio is okay, but at least it IS a complete Getter trio. Hell, even their Getter Go is very nice! The Getter-1 and new version Getter-1 are cool too, but they are sort of an acquired taste (version 2 mostly). And of course, Revoltech has the only Dangaioh action figure in the market, which I have to say it rocks. Of course, a lot of them suck too. But then again, there is a lot of them that are very cool too. One thing that I completely dislike about the Revoltechs are their joints. The detents inside may be useful to keep poses, but they also work against being able to pose the figure how you want to. They should have gone with friction joints from the get go. And you know what the best part is about the Revoltechs... they are some sturdy figures! Plastic is pretty much unbreakable. }D

Still got my Dangaioh and Mazinkaiser revos. I'd like to get the Tetsujin28 and his Black Ox, and Johnny Sokko's Giant Robot.
They're not in my Mazinger collection focus, but they are other favorite robot characters which I enjoy. And also, they are "lone" characters so I don't have to get their counterparts to complete a "trio" or "group" like the Getter family. So then, for my non-Mazinger robot collection category I'd grab a few revoltechs of other robots.
I can't say enough how much I love the Revoltech joints, because I can use them for making custom figures and articulated gadgets. lol
