gingaio, you have OT'd this thread enough? How about dropping the sarcastic comments to anyone who replies to you, and start bringing this thread back to the Zpro Jeeg figure. Your replies towards Baron have that feeling of jealousy that is just wrong. He is just telling you for the umph time that he knows what he is talking about, not being presumptuous. You just don't seem to get what he is getting at. And, yes, I was trying to be done, but you keep calling me back. Please stop derailing the thread.

I'm actually quite happy with my life. My wife actually encourages me to get nerd stuff that makes me happy. We're doing well, as far as our means. But thanks for suggesting otherwise. If I were to be jealous, it wouldn't be over a toy robot or other things that I don't want. Perfect health, maybe. Intellectual genius, perhaps. A second home? Anyway that says more about your perspective than mine, both the accusation and the fact you needed to make it. I don't begrudge you or the other guy for "having stuff" (American muscle cars ain't my thing anyway) and I 'get' what you're saying. I just think it's funny that you guys preach ownership as an absolute prerequisite for having an opinion about the way a toy looks. Imagine we were having a conversation about the Fiat 500, and I said it looks ugly, and you said, "I happen to own a fleet of them, and unless you own one, you don't have a right to say anything! And by the way, my opinion counts and yours is irrelevant." I would say that you're being kind of weird and amusing. And my saying that wouldn't necessarily mean that I was frothing at the mouth because you had a bunch of Fiat 500s and I didn't. As far as OT'ing this thread, here's the timeline of what happened: 1) I made a short comment on the look of the CMs Jeeg vs ZPro, expressing my appreciation for the latter and thanking someone for posting pics about the ZPro Jeeg. 2) You quote me to make a point about the anime accuracy of the CMs Jeeg. 3) I respond to your point. 4) You say, "Oh, silly debate! Let's stop." 5) I stop, but the other guy jumps in to basically say I don't have the right to an opinion, and I respond to him. 6) You piggyback his comment, so I respond to you. 7) You tell me to be quiet. 8) I say you have a habit of responding to me and then telling me to stop talking. 9) Knowing nothing about me, you tell me I'm jealous of the other dude, and I'm ruining this thread. If you look back at the last page, a good number of the posts are you defending the honor of the CMs Jeeg. There is a CMs Jeeg thread, you know. Yawn...  Done with you dude. Keep OT'ing all you want. I agree with TMZ and Baron on the part that one can't give a fair assessment on a figure Without handling the figure. I don't think one has to have ownership of a figure but should at least get a chance to play with the figure to determine if it is actually better than the another. And that not to say that your opinion don't matter, but arguing about which is better is pointless cause everyone uses different criteria to determine better. What's better to me isn't so for another. There's no concrete or decisive method to measure better. Even popular vote are meaningless because better will always be subjective. You can go crazy trying to prove something to be factual to someone that already has a set mind on what is best. I am not a Jeegs fan by any means but I stumble onto this conversation because I look at all recent post on this forum. You guys are pretty entertaining at times. From an outsider that know next to nothing about Jeeg, I like the scuplt of the ZPro version more over the CMs version. The CMs versions looks fat. If looks is the only criteria need to determine best or better than Zpro wins this round. But not having played with either, I can't fairly say which is better and again my criteria for what I deem better will differ from others. My opinion of this as an irrevelant observer.

actually, if gingaio says "CMs sucks hehehe" by just basing it on it looks alone (and he ADMITS it).. and not having and playing with it, if he thinks his assesment is final by seeing only those pics, then its his opinion. he can always retract his opinion afterwards.
if hes misinformed because of this, then its his loss..why cant anyone respect this. we can always debate with each of our own valid points.

Thanks for letting us all know about the status of your personal toy order. What are you having for lunch tomorrow? First off he is saying this because myself also had an issue with this company,and the Jeeg arriving late,it also benefits the community on where to purchase. Furthermore i was illustrating apoint NOT bragging,you were saying sports cars,dining etc are of more value than toys,I was reiterating that Ive experienced those things and still find toys as valuable.What is the matter with you?and furthermore when have I opened every sentence with flaunting?hahah because I said I own both Jeegs?400$ worth of toys?If you think that is bragging WOW. One thing a bit negative is shoulders are not painted,and the plastic yellow doesnt quite match the painted chest..just a small nitpick,the figure is done very well,be careful about back of knee parst they can get lost easily by falling off,if you dont pay attention. |

well.. like I told you months back. The first batch sold out too quickly. No way they were going to say "sold out" and stop the orders from coming in so Fewture ordered a lot more of them and then they bought Zmaz and had that put into production.. Fewture figured it was best to wait a while, let the pre orders in Japan and Hong Kong keep racking up and then just release them both together as a way of introducing them to Asia and everyone gets what they ordered at the same time .. HL doesn't handle that end of the business and just let Fewture call the shots on how it wants to sell what it purchased. Last I heard, it should be any time now but I haven't really been keeping up with it.. I have been building up my motorcycles the past few months. Had to take a break from robots.

I know there are several pictures of them floating around, but I would never thought they would be released together. I will sure be happy if they did, but that doesn't sound like a smart business move, especially taking into consideration their high price ($150 each). }D |

Mine will be coming this Friday. To be honest I prefer CM's head but the sculpt on this is still good. I just think any Jeeg fan would enjoy getting these 2 figures.
