greenhills isn't what it use to be..I do remember it being toy heaven when I was kid. It's more like divisoria now to me. You definitely are better off hunting in Tokyo or HK but prices for a mint Voltes are ridiculous now. You'll have more luck scoring one from a fellow collector than a dealer.

I could be wrong, but I would think any Voltes toys would be marked up in the P.I. more than any other locations due to the sheer fanfare of the toy and the character's history in the country.

right,, gonna be difficult to find a decent price in Manila unless its from sum1 who urgently needs to get funds by disposing his hobby.
Hongkong.. unlikely. if u ever saw one,, probably it just came from japan and not old stock. Japan,,i still see some online sellers posting
pics of boxed popy V5s on select Japan stores and so probably theres a slight chance its cheaper coz he was not that popular there.

I was just thinking the same thing. There are a lot of chogokin figures that were not as popular in Japan. Voltes V, Daimos, and Go-lion come to mind. Maybe you should budget a side trip to Japan while you are in the Philippines. |

SOC Voltes can be spotted @ Mandarake but if your to Japan Akihabara is the place to be they say....i always wanted to go to Japan.....Nippon Banzai!!!

I'm in Manila right now... No luck spotting any nice Voltes pieces. Gonna head to check out Toycon today, I'll report any findings but I'm guessing it's a pipe dream.
