Its funny he buys gaiking in the box. Myself I would of bought them all lol but its funny he chose gaiking because on the episode where he was at toyman toyshow and bought the alien for gentle giant to make their 24" alien,by the way I will own since its 24", and I attend the shows everytime lookin for goodies, you can see me whipping out my wallet for a gaiking that was equipped with white missles. Does this mean the values are gonna skyrocket now? Seems to be the trend. Did I set the trend for him to buy gaiking because I saw him eyeing it as I was carrying it around lol. Your welcome guys now we gonna be rich hahaha .

Cool - I have it on my DVR but have not yet watched it. I had posted on FB that last week, some Micronauts toys were featured. Plus they showed for about 2 seconds that he handled a Mazinger Z SOC GX-01. They did not mention it, but I caught it in passing.

It's a fun show to watch, but that show is sooooo staged. I love it when someone has something like a sealed minty 12-back Kenner Star Wars figure that we are made to believe it is stored in a tupperware box, and they are willing to sell it to Jordan for only $250. LMAO!

Finally!! I've been patiently waiting for them to show up. I had a chat with one of Jordan's peeps, and there is suppose to be a show coming up featuring Japanese toys.

I think you can do quite a few episodes about Japanese toys. As we know in this community, you can find that one guy who has all the Chogokins or all the Jumbos, or all the Ultraman toys or all the Godzillas. The list goes on and on. Curious to see what they come up with. The show to me so far is based more on Nostalgia than "cool" toys like the ones we collect.
Also, I wonder if they are paying the companies to show these items. Not sure how you can get away with showing some of these toys without paying some sort of licensing fee.

In last week's show he visited a guy named Sean in New York who was a Japanese toy collector. He had a bunch of Jumbos and stuff. I'm pretty sure it's the same Sean who sells on the board here and one of the Unifive jumbos shown in the background is now sitting at my house. Despite all of the rare jumbos and such, all Jordan bought were some Silverhawks and Ninja Turtle figures to sell at a con in the UK. I think they only highlight toys that the US audience grew up with, and really that's probably best for their ratings.

Did he pay a few hundred for them and now charges $500 to $1000 in his shop for 1 of them? On the new episode at Hollywood Heroes, they are still on his shelf in the background. I am sure they carry a ridiculously high price tag.

In the first season Jordan and his friend Rob purchase a Dragun from a well known toy dealer's barn out here in Cincinnati for like $15.

His show looks totally fake. But I still enjoy watching it to see the toys.

He goes to Mexico and doesn't go after the Jumbo Bootlegs? Where's Goro or Aquaman?

Just heard the show got cancelled from the article below. Looks like it was doing well. It costs nothing to make so I'm surprised they did cancel it. It was a bit corny but I did like looking at the old toys. toynewsi.com/news.php?itemid=23243

Bummer. I enjoyed having friends ask about toys because "I saw that ___ on TV & Toyhunter."
It was good conversation.

He's too expensive anyways. I was just at a big show sunday and he had a boxed giant gorg with him (no other Jumbos). It was $800. Ridiculous.

That Giant Gorg has been sitting on Ebay for $299 brand new unused with stickers. No takers. He must be the cheapest non Shogun Jumbo from that era. I have seen even Five Man Jumbo go for more in that condition.

Like most of you I enjoyed the show as well. The financial aspect was not so appealing but I did see a number of toys I used to play with as a kid that I totally forgot about but saw on the show.
Went to check Ebay on a few of them after the show and the prices skyrocketed 200-300%.
