Yeah, so far it's a mix of Kotobukiya Frame Arms and Gundam Build Fighter kits. They aren't entirely compatable though.

Nice choice, the legs look perfect for Toros. Are you gonna do classic Toros or the newer version?

I think mine will be somewhere between the classic and the new. The new one looks like it is designed for better articulation but I don't really like the split in the upper body and the rivets in the original are a great detail.

I agree, the rivets add great detail so go for it

Nice! Could you post pictures of the two versions of Toros? As far as I can remember they were pretty much the same. It would really help to see their differences. I think there are four or five versions of it? Original manga, 1970's series, Mazinger Z vs Devilman OVA, Mazinkaiser OVA, and Shin Mazinger series. }D

Here is the Shin Mazinger version. And the classic version. I believe that the Mazinkaiser version is closer to the classic. I haven't seen a Devilman version though. I'd be curious to see it.

Sorry just on holiday at the moment. Truth is I don't get a lot of spare time so this might take a while. Lol I plan on sculpting the head next so I'll collect photos and post when I can. ^^;;

Take your time, work made in haste usually ends up as a waste The best time to do these things is when we are ready to do them.

That's a genius idea, using paper onto the skeleton to give you a reference for size and shape. That method will either prevent or avoid any errors, because you can edit the paper until you get your desired design in draft form before the final production. It will also save materials from getting wasted. zozo-mag
