Yeah, I saw pictures of it at TFW2005. And I have to admit that it looks really good, but at the hills of Hasbro's release, which is a good quality toy, why bother? Are there people really going to buy it once it is released in July?
Why not spend time and effort to develop and release Dai Atlas, Deathzaras, or any other characters from the Japanese G1 cartoon line? At least BTS was working on Overlord...

I think a fort max would had more sense considering the PE release. Though it's possible they are doing one themselves.

The Japanese Transformers are very good. I really hope to see a cartoon accurate Deathzaras with all the accessories in the show.

I've preordered tentatively...gonna be on the lookout if other places have it for less (i.e. Robot Kingdom). Mind you, with the size...shipping is going to be a b*tch.

No matter how much I want it, $400 is still too rich for me ![:D](http://lemonstre.fr/robot-japan/smileys/grin.png)

There is a possibility that Utopia may be discounted...or during a second run. I'm actually considering cancelling my preorder and just waiting this out.

I say that because...really, what is the appetite out there for a 3rd party Metroplex going for $400USD?

It did well enough for them to do a second production run. I don't know why people are complaining about the price of this when combiners cost 350-500$. And this one is much bigger than all of the combiners.

I don't think anyone is complaining per se. The size is darn impressive...but, $400...yeah, even I'm reconsidering my preorder. That's a hunk of change I need to somehow sheepishly tell my wife why I had to buy it.

FWIW, the Fewture G Getter set was around $400ish each. And that's like loaded with hefty diecast.

Metroplex looks really awesome, but is too expensive for my blood. Yeah it was mentioned that the combiner sets cost more and are smaller compared to him. But for me I purchase the combiners over a series of months and the cost is broken down, a $100 this month, $100 next month and so on. This is just one big hit and I'd imagine it is heavy so shipping wont be cheap either.
