I'm pretty certain Elyn/Mechanicore IS G-System. They're both based in Hong Kong, they have the same photography style, and for some unspecified reason, G-System actually sold Elyn's Kshatriya on their website too. Hopefully they've learned their lesson from all the QC issues with the Kshatriya.
Funny enough, there have been rumors that Bandai's big December MG release is the Xi, so I wonder if this will be similar to that fiasco a few years ago with the Fanstoys and Masterpiece Soundwaves?

actually i am almost certain bandai will screw something up this already looks awesome and since it is based on the 1/60 i already know what the finished version will look like. so far they are ahead, bandai will really need to pull something nice off to change my decision to buy their version instead. I am also wondering since they also made the 1/60 Penelope which shares almost the entire inner frame and main armor if we will see that at some point as well

Nah, Bandai's been getting pretty ambitious lately with stuff like that obscenely huge HGUC Neo-Zeong that no one asked for.
Seeing how amazing their Nu and Sazabi are, it's only natural that they would want to make a model that would top even those two. Plus, I like Katoki's interpretation of the Xi a lot more than the rather cluttered G-System sculpt.
If anything, G-System here is the one that needs to really work their butts off to make sure this thing doesn't have the Kshatriya's horrendous QC issues.

That is exactly why I haven't gotten a Kshatriya yet. This looks cool and all, I just don't want to fork over $200 and have a faulty kit. Not to mention that some people preordered and never got one or had orders mysteriously cancelled. No thanks! I'll watch the hell outta the development of this though! Ha!

I got the kshatriya and after inspection everything was fine, guess I got lucky, but I'm in for one of these unless this is announced by bandai for a December release, the xi or the Penelope.
