Hello everyone out there! I have this super cool item from Dinosaur War Izenborg/Aizenborg... the flying battle ship with the retractable spinning drill on the front. It's from the 1970's and I have the original box & packaging. I also have 3 of the original little red missiles/projectiles. It's in great shape & all parts work. I cannot find any others out there on the internet for sale. It is a very rare item, I believe. How do I figure out the value of this? Does anyone know? Also, is anyone interested in buying it? Let me know! Thanks! ... I tried attaching a picture but am unable to.... so if you want to see it, let me know and give me your email address & I can email you a clear photo of the Aizenborg. Thanks!

There is the small (3 inches) diecast version and a larger plastic version. I think you are referring to the diecast one. The original missiles come on a tree so sounds like they have been removed. It also depends on the condition of the rubber thread. A complete one with loose missiles and decent box is about $150-$200 off yahoo japan by the time all fees are added.

Thank you so much for that input. Yes, I have the small diecast version of the Aizenborg. I just looked at it again & realized that I have NO rubber tread on the bottom. It's completely missing. Also, you are right, I only have 3 missiles & no "tree" that they came on. But I have the box and the Styrofoam insert it sits in. The box is in decent shape & the battleship is in great shape.
My dad traveled to Japan when my brother was a little boy (in the 1970's) & brought back this & 2 other fun items... a Popy GA-81 chogokin Daitetsujin 17 & Skyzel skyjet capsule toy from "Space Ironmen Kyodyne". I recently discovered them in a box in the basement & now am trying to figure out what to do with these 3 items from Japan. I am not a collector. I'm probably going to sell all three. Do you have any recommendations for me as to the best way to sell them? How do I reach those who might be interested in these vintage items? I have searched the internet & found this website to help me in my endeavor but could use some more guidance. Thanks!!

Your best bet is eBay. This is strictly personal experience. I find starting at 0.99 giving me the best chance of getting the most out of the item. Sometimes a high starting price or reserve would discourage people from bidding at all. Buy-It-Now requires you to know the general ball-park value of your toy. Do a little research on eBay and you should pick up the key words pretty easily.
Do the wings on your ship fold in and spring out by pressing the red button on top? If so, PM me. Thanks.
