That looks amazing. I'm very jealous. Funds have been tight so I haven't been able to add a Daimos to my meager collection yet, but I hope to at some point and I hope I can get a great conversion like this going...

Thanks guys. The only missing is the red plastic strip on top of his chest. I believe Luclin has a mold but not visiting RJ for quite sometime now. Whoever can direct me to the right contact will I forever indebted. Cheers.

I'm waiting for him too....

Yes, Bourno doesn't have the mold for it yet. Luclin is my only hope for now. If lucky enough, I might score the blue swords as well.

Thanks guys. The only missing is the red plastic strip on top of his chest. I believe Luclin has a mold but not visiting RJ for quite sometime now. Whoever can direct me to the right contact will I forever indebted. Cheers. Yes, I am still around. Yes, I have a mold for the red chest strip. Yes, I am very busy... However things are a little less crazy here now (and will hopefully be less so in the next few weeks). Basically, I had to deal with a nasty bout of pneumonia at the start of the year which put me ~very~ far behind on my work related projects and left little to no time to work on my hobby ones. Now that I can finally at least see an end approaching to the work related projects I can at least start to start tinkering with some new ones for Jumbos. The red strip though is a relatively easy thing to make/cast. Let me dust off the mold tomorrow and see if I can get one to turn out cleanly.

Thanks Wes; couldn't done it without your help. Thanks KingboyD. More or less $250 including shipping to New Zealand. Not bad for the huge transformation. But not including the other Mattel Daimos that I have to buy to get the right arm/shoulder. At least I still have a Mattel version to display though without the firing fist. Thanks Luclin in advance for the help; much appreciated.

Daimos look great! If you change the ears and add the red chest part. It will 90% like the Japan version.

What size holes do you need to drill for The leg daggers and chest piece to plug into?

Here's my original message to this dishonest seller then I'll let you all decide who's telling a lie:
Sorry Bruce, as much as I don't want it, but I have no choice but to place my negative feedback and off you go to our forum's negative transactions. It's my first time to give a negative feedback because I'm giving the seller chance to communicate first for one reason - being not so familiar with the item he's selling. But this time, the defects seems obvious by physical inspection and it's no brainier. If only you were honest and put everything in the listing. Anyway, like what I've said, shipping it back is not an option because of the expensive shipping cost, packing materials and hassle so Daimos will be going to the donation box so he will no longer remind me of this unfortunate incident. I hope I hear your side within the day before I place my feedback. Thanks.

By the way, the Daimos in the picture is not the one I bought from this seller. It has so many plastic burn that is not worth converting. I will post the photos later and will let you decide if you'll consider it minor defects and are not worth mentioning in the eBay listing. He gave me a small discount in shipping ($5) because it's free shipping within US and it's not something I demanded. I paid $24 and not $15 as he claimed in the sales thread.

Below are the defects of the item that I bought from this dishonest seller which according to him are just minor. Decide for yourself if you will consider them minor and so not worth mentioning in the listing. I raised my concern immediately upon receiving the item but didn't hear from him until I mentioned (after three weeks of waiting) that I have no choice but to leave a negative feedback. If only he apologized for not replying and for the defects then without a single cent refund I will not post any feedback. But instead he started this weird "feedback extortion" accusation and even called me thief as if he was the victim. He asked why I didn't return the item immediately for a refund. How can I return an item without a word from the seller? I threw away the packaging box out of disappointment since his 14 days return policy already lapsed and sending it back from New Zealand will be costly for me. And now he’s using the throwing of the box as an excuse that I have no intention of returning the item. What a desperate move. He even notified eBay that I misrepresent myself being in California. We were originally from Redwood City, California and just recently moved here in New Zealand. I created my eBay account long time ago while still in Redwood. So what's wrong with that? NZ Post even has a warehouse in Oregon so I can really buy items in the US and have an option to deliver the item there. This might not be the correct place for this discussion so my sincere apologies but he was the one who hijacked this thread. Anyway, this serves as a warning in case you'll deal with this seller in the future. It's fine if you got the right item you paid for but if not, GOOD LUCK!
