I saw this article at Makezine.com that explains an easy home method how to permanently etch stainless steel (in this case, a kettle). makezine.com/projects/make-40/etch-a-kettle/I wish I had known how easy it is to etch stainless steel, using ordinary stuff around the house such as Vinegar.. Salt.. a Q-tip.. and a 9v Battery, then I would have etched all sorts of stuff by know! You're probably asking " What T F does THIS have to do with collecting robots toys?!?!" My answer: that cool custom made Robot Hanger you've always wanted to make for your ETs, SOCs, SRCs, and other robot toy lines..... "Matrix Regenerator" PC case mod by Paul Capello aka "Crimson Sky"...this image is taken from the source, www.thebestcasescenario.com/forum/showthread.php?12-The-Matrix-Regenerator" Yeah, that's nice, mag... but With WHAT?!?!" ...with those used old non-working junked up old eMachines, Dells, IBMs, and HP computer towers that have been sitting in your closet all these years, c'mon admit it you've got about 5 or 6 dozen of them in your closet, including your mom's old 1983 Apple Mac, too! lol... ...take all them old towers apart, remove all the guts, and keep the steel chassis as a "robot base"... ... etch your panel lines into the surface areas to be seen on display, and add background "machinery" made from the computer guts such as the processor heat sinks, memory chips, and circuit boards... ...Za-ZOOM! Now you've got yerself a custom robot hangar for your figures! Just imagine staging your robots onto a background stainless steel custom robot hangar made similar to that PC case mod shown above! zozo-mag

Here's the finished case mod by that guy... ...if you can get your custom robot hangar to have this ^ ^ ^ type of textured look, in addition to the home-made Etching project, then you'll be the main envy here at RJ! zozo-mag
