Looking to purchase a loose set of Skyzel and Granzel chogokins. They seem to be in fair shape...no missing pieces and paint is good. I've never bought any vintage die-cast so I'm not sure what these guys go for. Would anyone who understands the market for these pieces be willing to give me a sense of what I should roughly pay?
Feel free to send me a private message if you aren't comfortable throwing out numbers on the board.
Thanks!
Joel

Are you getting the extra Skyzel head? Anyway, I have always been shocked at the prices of these two. From what I've seen, MIB specimens run about $200 to $250, if not more. For loose specimens in good condition, maybe pay in the range of $150 to $200. But with loose specimens, there is always great variability, especially when considering where these are listed. ebay priced for these tend to be lower, while Yahoo Japan seems to be higher. Just my observations. Others might offer different prices.

Well I bit the bullet and made my first purchases through Rinkya. Picked up the die-cast Skyzel and Granzel along with a set of mini-vinyls. The total for all four was 220 USD. The die cast seemed to be in good shape, though I'm not sure of Granzel will have the missiles for the guns hidden in his chest. Oddly the incomplete Granzel die cast alone was 399 on eBay. Sometimes it seems there's no real rhyme or reason to how people price these things. Makes me miss the relative ease of buying comics. You know, thanks to guys like Robert Overstreet and various other guides, how much a book should roughly fetch.

You will be happy with them. I've tried to track down a loose pair for a friend, and they have become uncommon. Though not fiercely fought for, time has made them a bit more cool than the old days. -Way back they were a bit too odd. Now, odd items are gaining appreciation for being uniquely Japanese.
Face masks with actor heads?!
All should know these guys transform back into the shogun action vehicles Sky Jet and Ground Jet......
