I'm a fan of Dairugger XV as it was one of the few childhood memories I had a long time ago... At this point I'm not the biggest Dairugger fan in the world but my army of Dairuggers continues to grow... one of these days I will need to photograph the collection. Found thus: - Popy Dairugger XV DX - Victoria Crystal Dairugger - Mecha Gold Dairugger - Victoria Mecha Gold version Dairugger - Popy GB-73 Dairugger - China KO plastic one - LSA Dairugger XV DX - 3.5" Dairugger KO diecast - Miracle Production Dairugger XV - Toynami Jumbo Dairugger - Toynami 9" Dairugger Black version And the new kids below: The fabled Taiwanese KO for GB-73 Here they are side by side... I know there are more as these guys were repro like mad for a long time... but i'm not hardcore enough to go as far as some folks have... I'm still looking for: - Deluxe Kikougattai XV DX - Popy GB-72 Not sure if there's anything else I would get...but if anyone has anything else I should try to add to this list give a post... Cheers...

Cool sets! I've seen a couple different box versions of the mini combiner in ST size, and love that type of bootleg "wish fulfillment" toy we wished existed as kids. A mini-grail item for collectors now. As for other things to get, how about the Popy PuraDera/PlaDX set? Kind of mid sized, cheap plastic, but cool with some extra toy gimmicks like the kid sized spinner gun, etc, and chrome/color odd combos, but still official licensed product. www.collectiondx.com/toy_review/1982/dairugger_xv

The one on the right is yet another Taiwanese KO of the GB-72 as featured by Chachi Power of RocketPunchArmy as shown below: It's essentially a KO of this guy: toyboxdx.com/datafiles/data/popy_data/gb/gb72.htmThe plastic version you have is most likely yet another taiwanese KO of the gb-73 toy which featured pure plastic mode injections to form the dairugger bot. I remember seeing these as a kid in Hong Kong being sold individually as blind boxes to form the Dairugger bot. Given the box styling and its original heritage I'd say yours is definitely a keeper. A lot of other specimens I've seen in the past tends to not have all of the supporting plastic pieces as those tend to get lost relatively easily

u might want to add this.. This kit was sold in two sizes (each version shown above) and I may have some extras for sale if anyone is looking for one. There are two releases of each, an original vintage issue and a reissue.

Yes - each version above is made in a different scale model size, the combiner (shown second) is the larger kit (but in reality both are small scale kits). I thought that was obvious, but I have edited my post to reflect that.

ah,, yeah,, i just thought it might be difficult to discern coz of much smaller first picture. anyway the first one's also available, but i didnt bother getting it. im just curious if i will be able to paint it properly so i tried the best version. For voltron completists though, this kits are sure nice additions.
