Hi everyone. I recently joined because a lot of my toy collecting friends on Facebook kept telling me that I needed to make an entry for my original toys here on Robot Japan. Of course I have been to Robot Japan on many occasions in pursuit of eye candy and jumbo Danguard Ace photos but I generally don't participate on forums. So what are Mechanauts and Predanauts? They started out as an obvious homage to Diaclone pilots and Micronauts. I've been making them for about 15 months now and they have evolved into something more unique. I make each 6" figure one at a time using my own 3D printer, some acetone, and a whole lotta time. The Mechanauts are the good guys and the Predanauts are the baddies. I've been releasing new figures every 6 weeks or so and you'll still see nods to things like Starriors and Rom, but hopefully you'll also see my efforts to dish up something with a bit of originality as well. Want to learn more? Here are the 3 places you should check out... mechazone.storenvy.com/ This is my store and the only place to buy my toys www.facebook.com/mechanauts Mechanauts Universe is THE central hub fro all things Mechanauts and Predanauts instagram.com/mechazone I post all kinds of stuff on my Instagram, but mostly sketches and works-in-progress I'll post some photos and I'm sure you'll notice the progression as I added more articulation and accessories. I'll start with my newest figure, the Mechanaut Biologist, that just went up for pre-order yesterday.

David is a personal friend of my brother and I. He is a great guy and his art and figure designs (and quality) are top notch. He stands behind everything he sells and if you're looking for something new, I highly suggest you check out his 3d printed figures. They are awesome.

Just found this thread. I've got the newer releases (everything after the Mechanaut Soldier), and they are really nice figures. Can't recommend them enough.
