and got way excited when I saw this www.bandaionline.com/bandai-hi-metal-r-vf-1s-strike-valkyrie-ichijyo-hikaru-custom-action-figure/and got less excited to see fixed shipping is $30....nope I hate complaining but seriously. Who is in charge of deciding the numbers they make? Couldnt they just open preorders and have a cutoff date? They obviously sell because from what I see there are many people left out of this. The link above has em but no way Im paying $30 flat rate knowing I could pay $14 EMS with Amiami. I thought the point of a business was to make money, not shut the door on the faces of people holding their money out to you trying to shove it in your pocket

yeah def not cool....whats the deal?
at least the retailers are limiting the purchase amount to 1 to reduce the scalping attempts. another thing retailers can do is under any circumstances, DO NOT accept returns from people whos buying more then three from one address. They are most likly scalpers....
but Bandai should do its part. the idea of reducing preo to limit the flood loss is very primitive to say the least..
bandai needs to reopen preo on these guys after they renegotiate with the factories. come on,mhow hard can that be? i dont want excuses. make impossible possible then!

I suspect getting the Macross stuff will take more finesse since NA shops are being blocked by Harmony Gold. The shipping is a bit steep with Bandaionline.com but it's probably maybe $10 more than our usual channel anyhow. So, I'll suck it up. Preordered.

Actually your right. I hope its at least EMS. Price of figure is just right. I paid $95 and with the others, it'd probably come out to about $80. $15 is worth the avoidance of headaches I guess. PO'd and got way excited when I saw this www.bandaionline.com/bandai-hi-metal-r-vf-1s-strike-valkyrie-ichijyo-hikaru-custom-action-figure/and got less excited to see fixed shipping is $30....nope I hate complaining but seriously. Cool. So, a couple of us left out in the cold got some preorders in. Now, up next is the Metal Build Strike Freedom. I'm assuming BBTS will get it...and of course, keep my eyes open closer to launch day as some vendors will have additional inventory.

those bros who got that in with extra $15 shipping, saved time from doing all the waiting and hunting around, added stress, and possibly missing this cool figure is way more then $15.

Do you have to pay upfront with bandaionline? Yeah, Paypal request upon checkout. The vendor is from Japan and so, I'm generally comfortable with it.

So Im assuming Bandai is limiting their stuff to other retailers coz they want people to order from their own website? Thats clever Bandai....real clever! It was a tongue-in-cheek joke most of the regulars had at ToyboxDX whenever Bandai issued yet another "Mazinger Z" repaint or new SoC sculpt that was coming and all the while ignoring other mecha. This was back several years ago, mind you, and obviously, the SoC line has grown quite a bit since...

Thanks guys. Bandai valks usually sell out during the initial preorders but most retailers are usually able acquire more stock upon release. I know this isn't as expensive as the MacF/ Macross30 valks but part of me wants to wait until release date. Really don't like paying in full up front for a preorder.
