By the way , while were on the subject of www.bandaionline.comDid any of you ever pre-ordered and received your item from them? The site is pretty new even though they say since 2013. but if you click on their connect with us logos, like facebook , twitters, etc. and it connect you to "BigCommerce" instead. They also only seem to have 3 pages of instock item ,everything else is pre-order. Just wondering for future reference. |

This is my first time ordering anything from them. At least they have Paypal which protects us for 180 day now. I remember when Nippon Yasan was new a few years ago and not many knew about it. I was able to snag a YF-29 Alto reissue with them when all other retailers were sold out. Within a few minutes. We'll see how this goes.

Im sorry I was lost abt "Bandai hates you" thing....what does it imply to? So Im assuming Bandai is limiting their stuff to other retailers coz they want people to order from their own website? Thats clever Bandai....real clever! It was a tongue-in-cheek joke most of the regulars had at ToyboxDX whenever Bandai issued yet another "Mazinger Z" repaint or new SoC sculpt that was coming and all the while ignoring other mecha. This was back several years ago, mind you, and obviously, the SoC line has grown quite a bit since... Oh.....now I get it....Sorry I was slow...I was so slow I didnt have the chance to catch this Bandai Hi Metal booger....:-) |

Has that been possible with previous Hi-Metal releases? I didnt want to risk it so I bit the bullet and just paid $157 with EMS for one....I hate myself for spending twice its value but I really want this sonahmahbeetch. I can cancel up to 7 days before release without penalty so if one opens up I can snag that and cancel this one. If anyone is interested...and believe me, its the cheapest available option. Ive looked,emailed, translated a bunch of sites that supposedly have availability with no luck... Ive searched the deepest,darkest corners for this guy. Both sold out immediately upon opening of preorders then come release date both were pretty much available at hlj, amiami, cdjapan etc. Not saying that they stay open very long but I can't count how many times I should have waited upon release and not paid scalper prices. A good resource is to visit join the Macrossworld forums wherein members immediately post if any valks become available. |

Thanks F360! See, this is what I mean. Preorders reopening and it's going to get better once we get closer to release date and after. Bandai has improved compared to what it was about 3 or 4 years ago.

Ran into their site when I was hellbent on getting the Hi-Metal R Armored Valk. They are based in Japan and so, hoping they are reliable. I've had decent luck with buying online since 2000 really, and so, hope my streak continues. The one shop I really miss? Amenbo. Those guys always came through for me...even with show exclusives. Shin Watanabe and Aki Yoshida were great...I wonder what happened to them...hope they are doing well. |
