This is the message you get: I think they are alive and well. I get this same message, not sure what the fuss is all about. All websites go through maintenance, when AE does it they get bad press?? Honestly, AE has been good to me for 10 years, in my eyes it is unfair for them to get this kind of treatment whenever something small happens.

Dunno...I'm just using Google Chrome. Nothing else otherwise. But, FWIW, I think the site is fine and the vendor is still alive and well. I have a small batch of stuff in my PoL with them...I'm not worried as they have served me well over the years.

Not working on Safari... but my Brave search engine is showing a notice from AE stating theyre working on a hardware issue. According to AE... around 5000 sites world wide are experiencing similar issues?

thing is man AE is not the same place it was 8 years ago, alot change and not to the good
its not professional (not to mention impolite) not to tell your customers when you are going to have server maintenance
well for me the site was first giving me "404 error not found" then they change to server not found and then its back to note found again
i tried multiple browsers from multiple devices yet same result
most sites do put a huge note that they will have server maintenance, not just disappeared

just wanted to throw my quick two cents regarding anime export i placed a pre-order earlier this year for the Gatchaman God Phoenix which was suppose to be released in Aug. Payment was made in full then and i waited beyond the August release date until today when they confirmed that the item has arrived from the manufacturer. Yes, between the time the first payment was made and confirmation that the item is in their warehouse, it was complete radio silence. Which i personally didn't have a problem with. I was able to log in today without any issue to release the item for shipping and it was calculated right away.
i feel for anyone who has had any communication issue with AE for being a first time customer, i was satisfied with my experience with them.

Hello Bros, It's been a while. Hope you all doing fine during the pandemic. Sorry for bumping the thread. Do anyone know the mail address of Erika Sato or anyone at AE? For some reason Aiko Matsumoto of the customer service at Anime-Export stopped responding to my mailing requests on shipping an item that was shipped during the pandemic and returned to them because of the total lockdown in japan, as I request them to ship it via DHL. Whats more, I'm reaching the limits of the PayPal's Buyer Protection, if I don't receive my order by September 13th 2020, then I have no choice but to report an issue on PayPal. www.paypal.com/us/webapps/mpp/paypal-safety-and-securityI want to sort this out peacefully with them without using PayPal. As I told them that I want to correct the mistake I made when I decided to ship the items during the pandemic thinking that the shipping business is still going by upgrading the shipping service from EMS to DHL and will pay the cost for it. Please help. Thanks in Advance.

sadly Erika Sato left AE ages ago, Aiko is not a bad person but she is very slow, i guess shes is the only one in customers services so it take some time to get a reply
i suggest that you contact them again dont reply no just write your case again in a new email, best time is 11pm our local time so you can get an early reply
if they dont reply, just simply ask PayPal to deliver your message, trust me they will reply within minutes
i hope you get your stuff soon and good luck
