I had a horrible experience with them. i placed a 2-300 dollar order, received an 80 dollar statue instead. zero email support, so after a few days I' ended up having to contact eBay to get refunded. i dont think I'll ever shop with them again.

I once ordered two Items within a couple of minutes but each with an Individual Order number and payment. I tired to Email them to ask for combined shipment for a week as both Items where stored for me but Never got a reply at all.
I send about 4 emails wihtin that week and was unable to combine my stuff for shipment on their Site ...
In the end i was Forced to Pay about 10k Yen for shipping instead of maybe 6000 Yen for a combined shippment.
The prices seem cool on AE but shippment, userinterface and everything else is a pain in the a**..
I'll prefer HLJ or other Sites now if possible instead of using AE again.
Just my two cents

Thanks too for the input drrockit - although AE has great prices, issues having to contact them will let me stay away. Good thing there is AmiAmi, HLJ & Nippon Yasan

Sorry to necropost but I preordered a Super Minipla Gekiryujin a while back and am STILL waiting for it.
I have been addicted to Bandai's Super Minipla line for Gaogaigar and I want to get Gekiryujin to mess around with the symmetrical docking.
It is now like I think 2 months after its supposed June release date and I have sent them many emails through their Contact Us page.

Paypal has a 180 days time limit for filing a claim. Double check if your order is within that 6 month period. If so, I would file a claim and get your refund. AE is no longer what it used to be years ago. Quite a few folks here, myself and my buddy included got burnt one way or the other. You are fine if your order went smoothly. But once there is an issue, you can get pretty stuck, no response, or even lose your money in some case. Hope you get your minipla or your money back. Good luck. |

Unfortunately for TWE/P-Bandai items we don't have many options. Until they revamp the US P-Bandai I'm rolling the dice with N-Y.

NY is a good option never had any problems with them but they charger %20 more on shipping so you end up paying more without knowing
i guess BBTS will be a good choice i dont mind paying extra with them since they are respectable and professional

N-Y or BiginJapan. CDJapan sometimes carry the Bandai exclusive. Or use a Proxy Service ships from Japan. They are much more common these days you may find one pretty cheap.

(said by the former Men's Wearhouse Guy) I have also given these guys a week to even respond to me from Anime Export. If they don't even give me a peep by the end of the 14th,I am cutting them off. Update:They not only never got back to me but when I logged back onto their site,my preorder was GONE and my money not reimbursed. I was willing to give them a chance and they messed it up badly. I have since escalated this to have Paypal solve this issue and am hoping for my refund. I am NEVER doing business with Anime Export again and will warn others against it. |

i think you guys need to know this
so i was checking AE and for my surprise the site is gone 
it gave me the 404 error not found !
for me personally im on the safe side (hopefully) the only thing i have on preorder from them is the GX-76X2, i still have alot of time for PayPal cover
do you think they are gone for good or technical issues ?
will post this in the another thread just to make sure other members see it
