Hi all,
Sorry if I am posting in the wrong section. Mods, please advise. Thanks! I placed my very first order, an order from Anime Export for the Evolution Toys Jet Pileder. I pre-paid the full amount last June 2014. Got a confirmation email with order number.
A local toy store is now selling this item, but never got my shipping request. I have emailed AE since last month to check, but my account shows no order listed. No replies from AE.
I am worried on my order.......

My concern though is that they don't reply to emails.......

Yeah. I was going to tell you that I received a product in stock notice at 2:11AM today. I haven't tried to contact them by email in a while, but they used to reply right away. Wonder if Erika Sato doesn't work there anymore... }D

Thanks for the reply TMZ. No replies until now. Even a comment on Facebook says AE dont reply to emails.
I guess Ms. Sato does not work for them anymore......

I had a similar problem with AE a few years ago where they didn't reply to a few weeks worth of emails so I brought up a Paypal dispute with them and then they replied a week later to only tell me they didn't have anymore stock. So I rarely shop with them anymore.

Strange that they only replied to you when you brought up a Paypal dispute.
After I complete this order, it will be my first & last with AE - am not happy with not getting a response from them

honestly lately they dont reply at all , all i get is the automatic emails they do ship your goods tho, but they dont reply i think some thing is wrong with the contact us page in their site try to email them directly on the email they put in the PayPal invoice im dealing with them since 2010 no problems so far but this not replying back is really annoying

Just got an email for my shipping payment. Paid shipping via PayPal. I sent them a message to send me a tracking number for my package......hope they reply.

So, I'm starting to get fed up by Anime-Export as well. Paid for my pre-ordered ET Jet Pileder and Brain Condor several days ago, to get them shipped EMS, but their shipping status has not changed at all. I got confirmation from Paypal that Anime-Export was indeed paid too. So, I sent an email this morning at 5:00AM (PT) to see what is going on. Let's see what they do. If they don't reply within 24 hours, I'm bombarding them with an email every 15 minutes until they do respond, or their mail server crashes. It is nothing but copying and pasting and hitting send. Pisses me off when any seller offers the more expensive Express Mail shipping, but then takes their sweet ass time to get the package shipped. That is COMPLETE BULLsh*t! }|

They just replied back apologizing, and told me they were shipped. But, I won't believe any of it until I can track the number in the USPS website.

Checked my tracking number via Japan Post - my package from AE is on its way! They still didnt reply to my emails - sucks to do business with them.
TMZ, glad that they responded to you - they shouldn't have to be bombarded to reply though.....

I had this issue a while back (more than a year ago). No email reply for couple months. Erika is still there back then, but her explanation is that my emails were replied, but somehow I never receive them. But I checked there was no replies being blocked or filtered. They need to use their ebay account email to reply me. Taking Erika's word for it, its more of a technical issue. But those couple months of lost communication caused me to lose an item that they sold to someone else (which they later found a replacement). As much as Erika tried to help, the issue didn't go away and doesn't seem like they are willing to do anything to fix their email. In the end, I stopped shopping there for a while now (even though they usually have the best TF Masterpiece preorder prices), in case we lost communications when something is wrong with my order again. I would rather pay the extra 5-10% elsewhere and get the peace of mind.
Erika is nice and very willing to help, but getting a hold of her or get around the flawed email system is another story.
