Just saw this from amiblog. Whoa! Kotobukiya's making a Shin Getter?! and still with a tiny pinhead on it...

Well, Koto already made a D-Style of this dude, so it's not that big a stretch to see a full-size one.
With that in mind... Koto, can we also see a decent full-sized Gaogaigar kit? Pretty please? The one from Aoshima kinda sucked... hard. Really hard.

Can someone tell me if its actually articulate or just a fix posed one. It's definitely articulated. Last I checked, Kotobukiya doesn't make fixed-posed model kits. Is this some sh*t revoltech? OOOh another Red Getter so exciting! NOT!! howabout some creativity and pick some robots that need to be done still.

Currently we only have a D-Style. Too bad that, being from Kotobukiya, it'll be discontinued after a whole 2 weeks...

Ok but this is not the model section,so thats why im confused, also why Kotobikuya rings no bells here.

Googling for "Getter kit Kotobukiya" only shows the D-Style with no news refering to this dude, but the way this thread is going, makes it look like it's a kit and not a figure. I dunno.

Aww, too bad. Then whatever hype I had for this has dropped to below zero.

A fixed figure? A statue?
Man. I'm so NOT going to buy this one. I probably wasn't going to do it before, but now... there's no way I'm even considering it.

I'd like to know how much will this be, just out of curiosity. I'm aiming for at least $100. IF it does cost that much, I don't give a damn about anime accuracy, gimme something that MOVES, dangit!
With that in mind, that D-Style of Getter-1 (also from Koto, and already out) suddenly became more attractive...

I don't believe it's a statue. The wing has some joint-mechanism, so that will be illogical for a static figure. The chest/tummy/waist area looks hollow and movable. I'm not sure if Koto has done a static mecha, anyway.
As such, I'm not sure it's a model kit, either.
It is non-scale, but looks to be similar to their EVA line. Is their 1/400 EVA line a model-kit?

So it IS a model kit after all!... and from the images, mobility's kinda iffy. Either that or the dude who took the photos doesn't know how to make poses.

He looks good posed but his static posture is terrible... Anime accurate or not it just seems off

Hopefully they make the other 2 Shin Getters. This one is a bit larger then the SRC one but the other two should look all right with the Aoshima Shin Getter.
