Cool! Muteking... Looks great! Almost feeling like they'll make the yellow circle and crest outline clear for his light up gimmick.

Muteking ... At first i was like , Who? Doing a little research and seeing a video hasn't made me that eager to get this. Also seeing the original suit design and seeing that Sentinel is reusing the same mold for this (this may change) is disappointing.
It wasn't so bad for the previous figures but I feel its more obvious for this particular that really didn't have armor ( at least as much as I've seen for this character.)

Well the microman tatsunoko fight figures were pretty much the same way. Re-using a central buck/mold for humanoid figures isn't the worst thing that could happen, and honestly these guys all pretty much have the same physique and stature, to a degree, so I don't think it's necessarily a bad choice.

That's a good point, perhaps I'm being overly critical. I've been staring at Cashan and Hurricane for awhile.
They did a great job "updating" those suits using this mold.

No, I don't think you are. Everyone has their gripes, and usually that's normal.
If you go a few posts back, you see me reiterate that I take issue with the giant gaps around the crotch sides because of the design of the giant ball thighs. I really think they could have put more effort into making it look more seamless there, while retaining poseability.
For what it is worth, I have Ken the Eagle and Casshan from the microman series. I'm working on finding tekkaman. I find those three have substance.
I like the polimar from that series also, but he always seemed plain to me, especially if you don't know his backstory. The figure isn't too enthralling in my opinion.
I feel the same way about the potential releases from this line. Other than price and production issues holding them back from succeeding, I don't see how else they could screw these up unless they are too plain. Does that make sense?

I agree with everything here. I only own Casshan so I didn't even realize they were using the same body for EVERY ONE (even though I even preordered Gatchaman). Damn.

I finally reviewed Hurricane Polimar/Polymar after having him for several months. My figure had some issues.

I received an e-mail from AmiAmi stating that the release of Gatchaman G1 was delayed to September.

yeah, im glad sentinel addressed the issue so quickly.
i remember Sentinel is one of very rare company that actually fixes known issues ASAP. i think they did the same with Getters too...i think. i forget what the issue was, but got it done on prototype stage. Even venerable Bandai dont do that.....look at SRC Great Mazingers tiny cat head or SOC God sigmas pin head...nope no fix there, never!
Love Sentinel
