Saved From the Trash Heap

Had an idea for a thread. These are a few of my Jumbos that I brought back from the grave. Alright not all were THAT bad but with the help of fellow board members like Bourno Kitsir Derik and Will to assist with missing stickers, missing parts etc and my TLC to clean, replace repair and fab whatever they couldn't help with I've made em' good as new. I have more pics I need to dig up later but these are a few of my most recent. I love before and after pics and I have no doubt Kitsir and Bourno and probably Bowhunter should have tons of such pics to share so have at it. Let's see what you guys have done. It thrills me to see awesome relics from my childhood brought back from the brink of the trash compactor and brought back to new.

These guys make great parts. So much easier to restore and make new the would be trash. I must have bought 3 different Red Barons to get all the parts I needed to make a complete one. Now if I could only score a few junkers to rebuild...

That's why I'm always on the look out for junkers Jowone, it's not to bad restoring them. And if you can't restore, it's kinda cool turning them in to something totally different!!
