Hmmmm ..Can they get away with it? Creating toys for characters with out licensing them? Playmates is a multimillion dollar company so they'll more than likely look the other way like Hasbro dose. Its small time companies with big IP's *cough* Harmony Gold, WEP *cough* that raise a stink whenever their not getting a piece of the pie.

Playmates does not own the TMNT license; they got the license from Nickelodeon. Yes, Nickelodeon is the current owner of TMNT.

S_Gokin - Thanks for saying why you were confused. I understand much better now. I simply thought you got mad at being told no in general which is nuts. If the box/art was showable, it'd definitely have been shown, but yea... it's rough. well bro then its just a misunderstanding thank you for your understanding Yes, I've read your post and you were unhappy with the answer no. And you continue to post off topic rant about business. My subsequent post, all I have been trying to say to you is that there is no box. That's why it wasn't shown in the video review and also not in the pictorial review. They have not create box/packing etc... Because they have not decide on a name for the figure. I said to watch more YouTube review because the reviewers that I have mentioned have all done reviews of 3rd party pre production products. In some of those reviews, they show that it's in regular brown shipping box and are wrapped in bubble. It's not because they don't want to share, it just there is no box to show. I can't be more blunt about this. And again, the assumption that I didn't read the MadToy King of Beast thread. I didn't post much on that thread because I had no intention or interest in buying that voltron, but I do know about that Gokin. What they did was kind of backwards in that they were more focus on getting and selling the product before it was ready. My speculation, likely cause WEP was going after them and they didn't want to cease the pre sales. Usually, companies, they don't make the packaging for test shots. Packaging is the last step when final production are made and ready to go out. if you want to believe that they were successful selling only to a small number of people, I am not stopping you. But they could have been more successful had they done stuff differently and stay out of the radar. Then Perhaps, more retailers would have been able to carry it instead of a select few. i meant my posts in MT threads not in here bro and my assumption was that you must saw that thread at least couple of pages trust me i know about the product life cycle true they could be more than successful but if you wasn't interested in the KOB then how can you judged if its was a successful sale or not ? i was and still in interested in the figure and trust me it was a hit even with that QCs, on Instagram people post new pictures for it almost every day, also they still on a roll vist HK and you will find some my friend did that

What you posted in that thread, probably months ago and I didn't pay much attention to it. Look, you can know all there is to know about manufacturing and I am not doubting what you know. But Unless you are involved with the project itself, you don't know, all you can do is speculate as to what is happening. I stand by what I said. I am not interested in buying the figure but that is a Voltron so I know a little about it. I also lurk around daily on this forum and I read most of the new post. I am interested in a little bit of most things. First sign of trouble, the company itself did direct sale of the product on its own website. As a spectator, I am to believe that the product is so good that a couple of days, upwards of a week (prior to having the webpage pulled by WEP) is all they need to sell out their production run? If that were true, there representative another guy by the name Tony if I remember correctly still took PM for private under hand sales? A hand full of online retailers took the risk to sell that product. So I am to believed that a hand full of website are able to move thousands of unit of the KOB? My guess is At best these retailers probably moved less than 300 units each. Hence, I stand by what I said, if selling a couple of thousands of units is successful, And you believe that it's a success, you are welcome too. Done with off topic discussion So how many people here is ordering this Not-Krang?

I was hoping to find a store I've actually heard of before. Where's First Gokin based in anyway? If they're a Hong Kong company, it might be cheaper to have it shipped from there.

Only other shop that has it is Chimungmung: chimungmung.com/product_info.php?products_id=2399Finding shops with these types of products is probably gonna be similar to finding one with MT KOB: far and between and unlikely to be a well-known one, like BBTS. That's the price of playing with borderline IP infringing toys, haha.

$119.90? That's not too bad. I bet the shipping is gonna be murder tho.
EDIT: Oh wait, it says right there on the page.

I guess its just me, but i dont care for the cartoony turtle molds. i like the more gritty realistic looking one that came out last year. don't remember the line, but they were really impressive and detailed. i recall them being really expensive though, does anyone know what im talking about?
